Role Summary: 

We're looking for an experienced and detail-oriented HR Generalist with strong benefits administration expertise to join our People team. In this role, you'll manage our comprehensive benefits programs, handle leave administration end-to-end, and support various HR initiatives that contribute to employee well-being and retention. You'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on our organization by ensuring our employees have the support they need while helping to scale our HR operations in a high-growth environment.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead the administration and optimization of our employee benefits programs, including health, wellness, and retirement offerings

  • Manage all aspects of employee leaves (FMLA, disability, parental, medical, etc.) from intake to return-to-work processes

  • Support all People programs and initiatives across the employee lifecycle

  • Execute and enhance onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure smooth transitions for employees

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employees regarding benefits questions, enrollment, and utilization

  • Drive open enrollment processes and ensure clear, effective communication of benefits to employees

  • Evaluate and recommend new benefit initiatives that align with company culture and employee needs

  • Partner with the People team to support HR initiatives including employee relations and HR compliance

  • Maintain accurate records in HRIS systems and prepare reports related to benefits utilization and leave management

  • Monitor compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, such as FMLA, ERISA, ADA, and ACA

  • Assist with HR policies and procedures development and implementation

  • Collaborate with Recruiting to support the new hire process and communicate benefits information to candidates

What We're Looking For:

  • 5+ years of experience in HR with specialized expertise in benefits administration and leave management

  • Experience managing full-cycle onboarding and offboarding processes

  • Demonstrated ability to support and contribute to various HR programs and initiatives

  • In-depth knowledge of benefits administration, including health insurance, retirement plans, and wellness programs

  • Proven experience managing complex leave programs and accommodations processes

  • Working knowledge of relevant employment laws and regulations (FMLA, ADA, ERISA, ACA)

  • Experience with HRIS and benefits administration systems

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to effectively interact with employees at all levels

  • Experience in tech or healthcare environments preferred

  • HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP, or equivalent) a plus
