Essential Functions:      

• Troubleshoots issues with identity management systems and solves complex, inter-related, system problems related to identity administration.
• Creates, modifies, and deletes users accounts in information systems and manages user access to resources.
• Creates, modifies, and deletes network folders and permissions in accordance with defined processes and procedures.
• Resets passwords, unlocks and locks accounts, disables and enables accounts. 
• Consults with users and system owners to understand complex access requests and issues.  
• Analyzes whether existing access is appropriate and reviews, validates, and clarifies incoming access request requirements.
• Initiates and conducts coordination sessions with key stakeholders to determine appropriate level of access.
• Provides access solution recommendations based on discussion findings.
• Designs diagrams and flowcharts and develops processes, procedures, standards, guidelines, and associated documentation.
• Reviews, validates, and maintains identity and access management processes for accuracy and completeness as systems are updated.
• Recommends changes to policies. Identifies ways to improve identity and access management architecture, systems, and workflows.
• Participates in the design, development, evaluation, testing, implementation, maintenance, support, and general administration of identity and access management systems.
• Works with team members to integrate centralized identity management solutions into existing and new systems.
• Works with other team members to identify and report information security risks related to identity and access management and recommends controls to reduce risk
• Runs complex reports and participates in audit, assessment, and testing activities including coordinating with system owners on audit activities. Leads access review and recertification efforts. 
• Proposes identity and access management related topics for inclusion in information security awareness training efforts.
• Participates in creation of training material and/or presentation of training content.
• Participates in continuous learning activities such as reading articles, watching webinars, completing computer-based training, and attending conferences to stay abreast of identity and access management topics including tools and techniques.

Education & Experience:

• Associate degree in information security, information systems, computer science or related field or equivalent relevant experience 
• Four years of experience in identity and access management, including experience managing access to cloud platforms or related experience 
• Information security related certifications, such as Security Plus or Azure, AWS, preferred

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

•  Strong knowledge of information security concepts and principles
• Excellent ability to administer user accounts and groups within Active Directory via native or 3rd party tools
• Strong ability to administer access to folders and files within a Windows-based network
• Strong ability to perform and create automation tasks with tools (i.e. PowerShell)
• Excellent familiarity with identity and access management technologies such as SAML, OAuth, OIDC, etc.
• Excellent knowledge of the following identity and access management concepts: segregation of duties, role-based access, multi-factor authentication, least privilege, user lifecycle management, single sign-on (SSO)
• Thorough knowledge of cloud providers such as Azure, AWS
• Strong knowledge of Identity as a Service providers such as Okta
• Good familiarity with Linux user and file permission administration preferred
• Good knowledge of general insurance principles and internal operations of the company preferred  
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
• Ability to prioritize assigned tasks

The hiring salary range for this position will vary based on geographic location, falling within either the $64,823-$89,327 range or the $71,452-$98,488 range. A hiring range represents a subset of the full salary range.  The actual salary will depend on several factors, including relevant education, skills, and experience of an applicant, geographic location, and business needs.
