As a Business Analytics Consultant within PNC's Retail Lending Platform Delivery organization, you may be based remotely in Missouri. This is a remote position. Work may be performed from a quiet, confidential space in a home location, approved by PNC. This position may not be available in all geographic locations.

Position Overview: In this role, you will problem solve, analyze data, present, and defend your findings to Sr leadership within the line of business. You will strategize and use critical thinking to define business requirements and code and analyze data and conduct testing. Uses a variety of software tools to perform advanced analytics with data. Anticipates and solves operational challenges of business data collection and integration into business decisions. Analyzes and processes data, building and maintaining models and report templates, and developing dynamic, data-driven solutions. Provides business clients with detailed, actionable reports documenting the findings from, data processing, and data analysis. Demonstrates understanding of enterprise issues management. Demonstrate good organizational skills and capability to manage work across multiple projects and different business functions or units. Provides business and technical expertise for the analytics process, tools and useful applications across multiple functions or business units.

Required Technical Skills: SQL, Python –(Pandas, data frames, NumPy), Hadoop, Jupyter Hub, Spark, Impala, Teradata

Qualifications / Responsibilities:
• Experience in analytics modeling/scripting tools such as Python, Hadoop and SQL.
• BS/BA in a technical or STEM related area, 2+ years or related experience.
• Demonstrates the ability to collaborate with management, peers, and stakeholders to effectively influence and effect business changes and processes; demonstrates a high-level of professionalism; inspires confidence and credibility.
• Good working knowledge of business, risk, and financial analysis, specifically within Retail Banking, and high aptitude for problem-solving.
• Analyze results and make recommendations for key business partners and senior management or communicate conclusions from complex analytical solutions to a wide range of audiences.
• Strong information architecture & data modeling skills, ability to collaborate with technology teams on data model design and evaluate a data model’s quality in relation to the information taxonomy it is designed to represent.
• Strong ability to document and defend approach to business partners and project stakeholders.
• Excellent working knowledge of analytic tools and applications, including advanced SQL language skills, advanced spreadsheet skills (Excel Power Query and Power Pivot), database management, graphics, and word processing applications.

Job Description
  • Leverages analytical tools to provide business and technical expertise for the analytics process, tools and applications for a business function or business unit to create data driven solutions.
  • Recommending appropriate performance measures to be produced including lifts, efficiencies, confidence intervals, and other statistical metrics.
  • Analyzing and processing data, building and maintaining models and report templates, and developing dynamic, data-driven solutions.
  • Providing business clients with detailed, actionable reports documenting the findings from, data processing, and data analysis.
  • Consulting on using business intelligence data for predictive analytics and facilitating implementation of new tools and data marts.

Pay Transparency

Base Salary: $45,000.00 – $119,600.00

Salaries may vary based on geographic location, market data and on individual skills, experience, and education. This role is incentive eligible with the payment based upon company, business and/or individual performance.
