About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Technical Business Analyst to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will serve as a vital bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring business requirements are clearly defined and translated into actionable technical solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and optimize technology-driven solutions that address business challenges, enhance processes, and drive efficiency. A strong background in tools for Product Line Engineering, System & Software Engineering Lifecycle Management, SDLC/Agile Planning, Testing strategies and DevSecOps will be highly valued.

What You Will Do

  • Business Requirements Elicitation & Analysis: Partner with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements, ensuring they are well-understood, documented and actionable
  • Technical Specifications & Documentation: Translate business requirements into clear, concise technical specifications, user stories, and use cases for development teams
  • Collaboration & Solution Design: Collaborate with business leaders, architects, developers, and other technical team members to design scalable, sustainable, and effective solutions that meet business requirements
  • Quality Assurance: Assist in creating strategies, plans, and test cases to ensure that solutions are thoroughly tested and meet business needs
  • Stakeholder Communication & Support: Serve as the primary point of contact for business stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress, risks, and issues
  • Agile Practices & Project Management: Work in Agile environments, participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, and retrospectives to ensure timely and effective delivery of solutions
  • Continuous Improvement & Innovation: Stay up to date with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices, recommending innovative solutions to improve business processes

What You Need to Be Successful

  • Minimum 10+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Technical Business Analyst, or Systems Analyst in a technology-driven environment
  • Demonstrated experience in working with cross-functional teams, including developers, QA, and business stakeholders, to deliver technical solutions
  • Strong understanding of Product Line Engineering with Architecture, variants and reusability of product configurations, System Architecture and Design with Model based Systems Engineering methods.
  • Understanding of compliance with V-Model/A-SPICE development standards and traceability
  • Tool Proficiency: IBM Engineering Lifecycle Management (ELM): Experience working with IBM ELM tools, such as DOORS Next for requirements management, Test Management for test case management, and Workflow Management for tracking project progress
  • Jira: Proficient in using Jira for project management, Familiarity with Kantata for project portfolio management
  • Strong understanding of other software development tools and technologies
  • Strong analytical thinking with the ability to break down complex business problems and translate them into clear, actionable solutions
  • Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to foster trust and cooperation between business and technical teams

Bonus Points if You Have

  • Bachelor’s or master’s in electrical/electronic engineering or a related field
  • Exposure to automotive, aerospace, or embedded software industries

  • Certifications in MBSE, Agile (SAFe), or ASPICE
  • Willingness to participate in deliverables on certain weekends for planned activities
