Your Responsibilities
The John Deere Intelligent Solutions Group (ISG) is seeking a Product Manager - Data Completeness to lead the definition and delivery of whole farm record keeping. This role is focused on building solutions that allow farmers to store a complete set of digital records within the John Deere Operations Center. Your mission will be to build solutions to allow every possible piece of data about a farm to be captured, collected, and digitized, allowing farmers to have a full set of data for deep analysis purposes. Examples include soil samples, tile lines, aerial & drone spraying work data, boundaries, and PDFs. In addition, you will:
• Deeply understand the needs around farm recording keeping, including what types of data is important to farmers, how this data is captured, and where it is stored today.
• Define a prioritized roadmap of key new data sources to ingest into John Deere Operations Center, working alongside other product teams to translate, store, and visualize this data.
• Translate customer needs into a product experience with specific product requirements and features. You will make the product come to life through written and verbal communication with the end goal of creating a great customer experience. You will work directly with UX, engineering and production systems teams to ensure execution of your vision.
• Use your domain experiences, business judgement, and technical knowledge to inform an understanding of what is technically possible and strategically important to the business.
• Have the capability to communicate, and work with other product managers, delivery teams, regional sales, marketing and customer support to ensure success in the marketplace.

What Skills You Need
• 3 or more years of experience in technology product development (software and / or hardware) in some capacity
• A working knowledge of the John Deere Tech Stack (Connectivity, Guidance, and Displays) features and capabilities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to inspire and rally a team that spans engineers, UX, architecture, customer support, and marketing.
• Big picture leader that can think strategically but also get the nitty gritty detail right
• Willingness to travel 25% including internationally
What Makes You Standout
• Knowledge and experience in Agriculture
• Experience working directly with production ag customers leveraging the Deere tech stack
• Solid design sensibilities and ability to create simple products that users love
• Don’t need to write code, but technical enough to engage with engineers directly
Education
Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
• Undergraduate degree in agricultural related studies, engineering, computer science or similar
