HelloBetter is a European leader in the field of digital therapeutics (DTx) for mental health and a global pioneer in digital mental health research. Founded in 2015, HelloBetter has the strongest evidence base globally, with a total of 33 randomized controlled trials published in peer-reviewed journals. In Germany, six of their therapy programmes are part of the standard of care and as such available to 70+ million people for free as prescription digital therapeutics or DiGA. In 2022, HelloBetter entered the US market with its HelloGina brand which offers a sexual wellness program for people with vaginismus. In 2023, HelloBetter received Breakthrough Device Designation from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for its digital therapeutic HelloBetter Panic.

Your mission

HelloBetter is a pioneer in the field of digital healthcare. For more than 10 years, we have been developing evidence-based digital health applications for the prevention and treatment of mental health conditions. Our applications cover a variety of areas, including stress management, depression, problematic alcohol use, panic disorder and anxiety, vaginismus, and sleep disorders.
Six of HelloBetter's ten applications are approved as digital health applications. They are available free of charge by prescription to all insured adults in Germany.

As a People & Talent Partner (m/f/x) at HelloBetter, you blend Talent Acquisition with People Development, acting as the main point of contact for our 160 employees, particularly for Hiring Managers and Team Leads. You offer guidance and support in Talent Acquisition and People Development matters, while fostering a positive and diverse work culture and contributing to the strategic initiatives that drive our team forward.

Your objectives

Talent Acquisition

Own and manage the entire hiring process, from job requisition to offer acceptance, ensuring a seamless experience for both candidates and hiring managers. This includes conducting job analyses, drafting job descriptions, screening resumes, and conducting interviews.
Manage our Applicant Tracking System (Personio) to enhance workflow efficiency, ensure data accuracy, and maintain compliance.
Compile recruitment statistics and metrics, providing weekly and bi-weekly updates.
Enhance candidate experience and relationships through timely communication, lead initiatives to strengthen employer branding, and maintain ongoing relationships with candidates.
Analyse Net Promoter Score metrics to evaluate Candidate Experience and Quality of Hire.

People Development

Lead performance management processes, including Annual Development Reviews in Leapsome.
Drive employee feedback initiatives such as Pulse surveys and Stay interviews.
Conduct onboarding workshops for new employees.
Collaborate with stakeholders to provide guidance on people-related topics.
Contribute to People strategy development and implementation.

Collaboration with Working Student

Work closely with our Working Student, coordinating workload, setting clear expectations, prioritising tasks, and offering mentoring and support. Provide regular feedback to foster their development and ensure alignment with our team goals.

Your profile

Must Haves

Working experience in the field of Recruitment or Talent Acquisition.
Proficient in organising tasks and managing projects, both independently and as part of a team.
Great communication skills, adept at clearly sharing ideas with varied audiences.
Data-driven mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Native-level proficiency in German, with fluent English skills as the company language.

Nice to Haves

Strong background in Talent Acquisition, covering areas like active sourcing, candidate experience management, marketing, and the analysis of recruitment statistics.
Experience in People Development topics and other People fields.
Technical recruitment expertise.
Experience in collaborating successfully with stakeholders at all organisational levels.

About us

HelloBetter was founded under the name GET.ON Institut für Online Gesundheitstrainings GmbH by internationally recognized researchers and psychologists in 2015. In more than 30 randomized-controlled studies, HelloBetter has developed and evaluated 10 online programs from eight specific problem areas in cooperation with Leuphana University, Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nuremberg, the Free University of Amsterdam, Harvard University and other partners. These programs serve both the prevention and treatment of classic mental illnesses such as depression, anxiety or panic disorders, but also cover topics such as vaginismus or chronic pain. This gives HelloBetter the broadest study base of all providers.

In the meantime, six therapy programs from HelloBetter have been approved by the German Federal Institute for Drugs and Medical Devices (BfArM) as digital health applications and are available free of charge on prescription for all adults with health insurance in Germany. The work of the expert team has been published in international journals (including The Journal of the American Medical Association) and recognized with various awards (including, Wilhelm Exner Award in Psychology 2016, EFPA Comenius Award 2017, Digital Health Award 2018, EU Compass Good Practice 2018 in Mental Health).

The company is based in Berlin and Hamburg and employs more than 130 people.
