In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
· Analysis of the causes of defects in the manufacturing process and countermeasures
· Improvement of manufacturing processes (e.g., by introducing manufacturing unique tools)
· Design modification associated with the defect countermeasures and improvements
· Verification of design changes and preparation of verification reports
· Modify the manufacturing working instruction, drawings, etc.
· Responding to technical inquiries and participating in meetings for products jointly produced with overseas sites.
· Transfer of manufacturing for new products
· Feasibility study and implementation to apply automation tools to manufacturing processes
The essential requirements of the job include:
· Graduated from a university with a degree in Mechanical Engineering or Control Engineering
· Proficient in Japanese at a business level
· Capable of everyday conversational English
· Skilled in 3D CAD (Solidworks)
· Requires expanded conceptual knowledge in own discipline and broadens capabilities
· Solves problems in straightforward situations; analyzes possible solutions using technical experience and judgment and precedents
· Bachelor’s degree in field with 2+ years exp. Or Master’s degree in field with 0-2 years exp.
· Impacts quality of own work and the work of others on the team.
