We are seeking a Human Resources Manager to join our growing team. This position is ideal for an experienced HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced, international environment and enjoys both strategic planning and hands-on HR operations.

You will play a pivotal role in driving employee lifecycle processes, ensuring HR compliance, and managing daily HR operations across multiple locations. This role requires proficiency in English and ideally German, along with a strong grasp of employment legislation and HR best practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Employee Lifecycle Management
    • Manage end-to-end employee onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure a smooth and professional experience.
    • Prepare and oversee employment contracts, amendments, confirmations, and termination letters in compliance with legal and company standards.
    • Coordinate HR change requests, including job title updates, department transfers, and employment terms adjustments.
  • HR Administration & Systems
    • Maintain accurate and confidential employee data in internal HR systems.
    • Organize and update employee files (digital and physical), ensuring data integrity and compliance with data protection regulations.
    • Manage administrative processes such as visa/work permit coordination, employment confirmations, and document control.
  • Payroll & Benefits
    • Coordinate monthly payroll input and collaborate with finance/payroll providers to ensure timely and accurate processing.
    • Administer compensation and employee benefits programs, ensuring internal consistency and market competitiveness.
  • Compliance & Policies
    • Ensure adherence to local labour laws, company policies, and international HR standards.
    • Draft, update, and communicate HR policies and procedures to align with evolving business needs and legal changes.
  • Performance & Development
    • Support performance management cycles by coordinating review timelines, tracking completion, and gathering feedback.
    • Assist in identifying training and improvement needs and supporting ongoing career development initiatives across teams.
  • Employee Relations
    • Act as a trusted point of contact for employee queries and HR-related matters, fostering an open and collaborative work environment.
    • Manage disciplinary procedures and guide managers through formal actions, ensuring consistency and fairness.
    • Support conflict resolution and grievance handling to maintain a positive workplace climate.
  • Engagement & Culture
    • Drive engagement activities including team events, employee recognition, wellness programs, and communication initiatives.
    • Utilize HR metrics and employee feedback to enhance workplace satisfaction and retention.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proven experience (3+ years) as an HR Manager or Senior HR Generalist in a multinational or service-based organization.
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and HR practices, experience within Switzerland and/or Germany are a bonus.
  • Experience managing payroll, contract documentation, and employee data administration.
  • Fluent in English; proficiency in German is a significant advantage.
  • High attention to detail, discretion with confidential information, and strong organizational skills.
  • Proficient in HR management systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
  • Strong interpersonal and advisory skills with the ability to influence and support cross-functional teams.
  • Willingness to provide a recent criminal record extract (not older than three months).
