Job description

1. Mission

At Trafilea, copywriting is not just about words—it’s about moving people to action through strategy-driven storytelling. We are looking for a Copywriting Expert — a rare hybrid who combines the creativity of a high-performing copywriter with the business insight and critical thinking of a creative strategist. In this role, you’ll craft persuasive, data-informed, and conversion-focused messaging for Arabic-speaking markets—especially in the Gulf region. Your work will be focused on Kenz, a Trafilea-owned brand dedicated to selling high-quality intimatewear tailored for women in the Gulf, with a particular emphasis on Saudi Arabia. You will collaborate daily with Acquisition, Creative, and Research teams, shaping campaigns from ideation to execution and iteration. You’ll be responsible not only for writing, but also for building briefs, interpreting performance data, and adapting your messaging to resonate deeply with local cultural and linguistic nuances. Your ability to blend storytelling and strategy will be essential to Kenz’s growth—and, more broadly, to Trafilea’s expansion in the MENA region.

2. General Accountabilities
  • Write compelling, direct-response copy in native Arabic (Saudi dialect preferred) across a wide range of formats—including ad creatives, landing pages, video scripts, emails, funnels, and social media captions for images and reels across platforms

  • Translate business goals and data insights into sharp, engaging, and emotionally resonant messaging strategies.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Acquisition, Creative, and Research teams to co-own campaign development and ensure alignment between messaging, visuals, and objectives.

  • Create briefs for creative assets and develop strategic hypotheses based on performance insights and audience analysis.

  • Use platform metrics to analyze what’s working and iterate quickly to improve results—your writing will be backed by numbers.

  • Continuously research and refine persona understanding for Arabic-speaking audiences to inform tone, voice, and conversion triggers.

  • Develop native communication strategies aligned with platform expectations across Meta, TikTok, YouTube, and others.

  • Integrate AI tools into your workflow to generate copy variations, test new angles, and combat creative fatigue.

  • Manage projects through tools like Asana, ensuring timely execution of deliverables with accuracy and strategic coherence.

  • Participate in briefing and content direction, ensuring outputs remain aligned with the performance strategy and brand tone.
