Position Summary:

As the Vice President, Enterprise Architecture & Office of AI you will lead the technology strategy, enterprise architecture, and lean portfolio management. You will aligning enterprise technology investments with business priorities, fostering AI-driven innovation, and ensuring an agile, secure, and scalable digital ecosystem.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a strategic enterprise technology roadmap aligned with corporate objectives, enabling AI-driven healthcare innovation and operational efficiency
  • Establish a technology value management framework to assess ROI, optimize IT investments, and maximize business impact
  • Establish Lean Portfolio Management (LPM) principles to align technology investments with business priorities and agile delivery
  • Develop technology governance structures to ensure architecture decisions support innovation, compliance, and security
  • Define a modern enterprise architecture strategy that enables AI integration, cloud-native solutions, and precision oncology advancements
  • Lead the adoption of microservices, API-first architectures, and data-driven ecosystems to enhance interoperability and scalability
  • Implement Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) and adaptive architecture methodologies to support agility, flexibility, and innovation
  • Foster an “architecture as code” culture, ensuring automation, reusability, and continuous delivery principles
  • Act as a trusted advisor to the CIO, C-suite, and business leaders, translating technology strategy into actionable execution
  • Build and mentor a high-performing team of enterprise architects, solution architects, and strategy leaders

Experience, Education and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 15+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, technology strategy, or digital transformation, with a focus on healthcare, life sciences, or biotech.
  • Expertise in AI/ML integration, cloud-native architectures, data platforms, and digital business models.
  • Experience implementing Lean Portfolio Management (LPM), technology governance, and agile funding models.
  • Deep understanding of Scaled Agile (SAFe), DevSecOps, and adaptive architecture.
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare interoperability standards (FHIR, HL7, DICOM) and regulatory compliance (HIPAA, GDPR, CLIA, CAP).
  • Proven ability to optimize IT investments, measure technology ROI, and align enterprise technology with business outcomes.
  • Exceptional leadership, stakeholder management, and strategic communication skills.
