Job description

Job Description: Title: HR/People Ops Specialist
Location: Remote
Duration: 6 months plus extensions


Level: Level 1 (0-5 years)

Contractor JD

- Communicate updates, recent policy changes and guidelines on U.S. immigration to employees, HR and management.
- Serve as main point of contact for global mobility Tier 1 matters within case management system, ServiceNow
- Provide day-to-day coordination with cross-functional stakeholders (e.g. HRBPs, Recruiting, etc.) and quality assurance for global mobility programs and tasks - anticipating, escalating, and resolving issues and related matters as necessary
- Act as a main point of contact for Dropboxers throughout immigration and relocation lifecycles, and ensure an excellent employee experience at each stage in the process.
- Be responsible for end-to-end case management and monitoring of domestic mobility cases within ServiceNow
- Work closely with external immigration counsel to ensure adherence to compliance, service level standards and communication protocol
- Provide ad hoc support for general HR Operations and HR Compliance

Skills

- Demonstrate success working in a high-volume and fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a passion for exceptional customer experience
- Attention to detail and organization; able to balance multiple projects and deliver on SLAs on a daily basis
- Microsoft Office Suite & Google Suites proficiency (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Gmail, Google Sheets, Calendar, etc)
- Strong interpersonal, teamwork and organizational skills
- Strong problem-solving skills with impeccable multi-tasking abilities
- Detail-oriented, with the ability to efficiently troubleshoot and manage complex situations
- Experience with ServiceNow, Workday and Greenhouse
- Immigration/external vendor management

Education

- BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience
- 2 years of experience in HR Operations role
- US immigration experience preferred
- Experience as a paralegal or case manager in an immigration law firm environment a plus

Temporary coverage during parental leave
Team set up: 2 people on Global Mobility, housed within People (HR) Operations org
Other cross functional partners: HRBPs, TA, HMs, external vendors, comp teams, Workday, People Tech team, Payroll
Relocation Volume: 200+ relocations per year
Visa Case Volume: 1,000+ initiations per year
