Responsibilities
Develop and maintain client deliverables including new client onboarding materials, renewal projections, benchmarking reports, and custom contribution models tailored to complex funding arrangements (fully insured, self-funded, and level-funded).
Roll over and adapt client templates for new plan years or structural changes, ensuring continuity and accuracy in all documentation.
Produce and refine reporting such as monthly/quarterly utilization, financial, and experience reports, including input updates and visual adjustments for high-value clients.
Prepare funding analyses and comparative models, including ASO spreads, fully insured equivalents, and strategic contribution modeling for optimized plan design.
Negotiate with insurance carriers (both incumbent and prospective) to secure competitive rates and product offerings aligned with client goals.
Communicate strategic insights and deliverables through client-facing calls, regular email communications, and presentations, incorporating feedback to enhance service quality.
Support operational excellence by training team members, tracking workflow in ImageRight, staying up-to-date on industry trends and legislation, and participating in meetings and seminars.
Qualifications
3+ years in the Employee Benefits industry
Four-year degree; preferably focused on mathematical field
Minimum 1 year in an excel intensive technical role
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel in creating and working with pivot tables, complex charts / formulas, large datasets, and data visualization
Knowledge of ImageRight / Benefit Point / Springbuk / Deerwalk / Domo a plus
Analytical, able to analyze claims data, compare quotes and have accuracy and decisiveness
Strong organizational, verbal and written communications skills
