The Clinical Professional Development Specialist (Remote in CA, AZ, or TX) supports the planning, implementation, and coordination of specific Clinical Professional Development programming (PDP) for the clinical teams. This role plays an essential part in managing existing programming, supporting the roll-out of new initiatives, and ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Responsibilities include coordinating across cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment, monitoring program effectiveness, and maintaining clear communication and documentation to support the continued development and engagement of clinical staff
Responsibilities
- Partner with Clinical and Clinical Affairs leadership on coordination and implementation for current and upcoming clinical professional development initiatives
- Continuously support efforts to optimize program workflows, implementation, clinician experience and technology utilization
- Monitor and report key performance indicators to identify areas needing attention or improvement
- Assist in management of change requests as they arise, collaborating with stakeholders and colleagues to adjust as needed
- Manage day-to-day maintenance of clinical professional development programs including planning and execution of events, communication, follow up and necessary tracking
- Assist in the process to draft, review and update policies and procedures that ensure alignment with organizational goals
- Develop and update detailed standard operating procedures that translate policies into actionable efficient clinical professional development programming workflows
- Ensure collaboration and information sharing among workstreams by managing relationships through transparency, effective communication, and frequent updates
- Work with Clinical and Clinical Affairs leadership to ensure stakeholder feedback and buy in is provided in a timely manner; serve as a liaison between cross-functional stakeholders
- Track and maintain accurate records of completed PDP events and attendance documentation
- Provide logistical support for virtual and in person PDP events as needed
- Serve as backup support for Clinician Orientation responsibilities including, coordination and support of all pre-start and orientation activities to ensure timely and effective integration of all clinicians prior to and during their first week of work.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, healthcare administration, or related subjects preferred, or 4+ years of position related experience
- Healthcare administration experience including supporting healthcare professionals preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Working knowledge of electronic medical record systems
- Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) preferred
- Ability to establish and maintain positive rapport and keep groups engaged through virtual working sessions
- Ability to navigate complex situations and interact smoothly with various levels of authority
- Strong attention to detail and results-oriented mindset, capable of handling complex issues with multiple dependencies
- Ability to manage multiple programs simultaneously in a fast-paced dynamic environment
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, adept at identifying and solving hidden problems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail required
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
The pay range for this position is $23 to $26 per hour. We offer full benefits (medical, dental, vision), paid time off, holiday pay, 401k, tuition reimbursement, paid parental leave, and more.
