Job description

Civitas Learning is looking for a strategic, data-driven, and creative Growth Marketing Manager to own and scale customer acquisition efforts. You’ll be responsible for driving sustainable growth of sales pipeline through experimentation, paid acquisition, lifecycle marketing, and conversion rate optimization. You’ll collaborate cross-functionally to identify growth opportunities and execute integrated marketing campaigns that drive measurable business outcomes.

​​This role requires mastery of multi-channel growth marketing strategy and a love for learning and applying new tactics. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can work independently and has strong attention to detail. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, take initiative, and are an excellent problem solver and communicator.

This role reports to the Director of Marketing and works closely with design, marketing, product, sales, and the Customer Development team.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute full-funnel growth strategies to acquire, engage, and retain customers.
  • Create, produce, execute, and report on demand generation pipeline goals and performance, working closely with the marketing and field-facing teams.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and sales teams to develop growth campaigns to increase overall brand awareness, generate new qualified leads, nurture existing opportunities, and contribute to customer retention.
  • Own and manage paid acquisition channels and budgets (e.g., Google Ads, LinkedIn, Meta, etc.) and experiment with emerging platforms.
  • Evaluate, inform, and manage the  digital and field event strategy in partnership with Event and Field Marketing Coordinator to contribute to pipeline growth and brand awareness as part of the overall growth marketing plan and budget.
  • Plan and run A/B tests and multivariate experiments across channels, landing pages, and messaging.
  • Optimize website, landing page, and form conversion funnels for traffic, lead generation, and inbound engagement.
  • Implement and refine marketing automation and email drip campaigns for customer nurturing.
  • Track KPIs and campaign performance metrics, and report on ROI using tools like Google Analytics, HubSpot, and Salesforce to contribute to pipeline growth
  • Stay ahead of trends and best practices in growth marketing, martech, and user behavior.

Experience & Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in B2B demand generation and a track record of consistently delivering measurable results and keeping ahead of current demand generation trends.
  • Comfort with the standard Demand Generation / Marketing Automation technology stacks
  • Proficiency with Salesforce and HubSpot
  • Familiarity with and/or experience with Revenue and Account Based Marketing best practices and tactics.
  • Ability to correlate analytics and results from various prospect touchpoints and know how to adjust strategy and campaigns.
  • Demonstrated ability to craft strong copy, messages, and stories focused on generating engagement, accelerating marketing funnel velocity/conversion, and increasing sales pipeline conversion.
  • Ability to be a high performer that knows how to construct and drive support for a strategy, but also when to ask for help from leadership and team members to achieve the greatest results.
