Job description

Narvar is growing! We’re looking for an experienced Editorial Director to join our Marketing team and lead our editorial strategy across owned and earned channels.

In this role, you’ll elevate and evolve Narvar’s voice in a fast-moving tech and retail environment—translating insights into compelling content that builds brand authority, fuels pipeline, and deepens customer engagement. You’ll spearhead high-impact storytelling, original research, customer narratives, and thought leadership that resonate with retail executives, supply chain leaders, and tech-savvy decision-makers. This is a highly strategic and hands-on role: you’ll own the editorial calendar, manage a network of contributors, and collaborate cross-functionally to shape—and continuously refine—the narrative around post-purchase innovation, retail transformation, and consumer experience.

Day-to-day

  • Own Narvar’s editorial strategy and calendar across channels—from long-form thought leadership to snackable blog posts, social copy, newsletters, and more.
  • Build and manage a content engine that supports both top-of-funnel awareness and sales enablement.
  • Partner closely with product marketing, design, demand gen, and customer teams to translate insights into engaging narratives.
  • Lead the creation of original research reports, trend pieces, customer stories, and C-suite bylines.
  • Establish and evolve Narvar’s brand voice across content formats and audiences.
  • Set performance goals and KPIs for content efforts, using data to drive decisions and optimize content strategy.
  • Experiment with new formats, channels, and technologies—including generative AI—to improve content velocity, quality, and impact.

What we’re looking for

  • 10+ years of editorial or content experience in B2B SaaS, ideally with a focus on retail, logistics, or consumer tech.
  • Proven experience owning an editorial calendar and managing high-volume content production.
  • Strong storytelling chops—you know how to translate complex ideas into compelling narratives.
  • Editorial leadership: experience managing writers and creative partners, editing for clarity, tone, and impact.
  • A builder’s mindset—comfortable operating in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Passion for Narvar’s mission and a desire to shape the future of post-purchase.
  • Curiosity and a strong appetite for trying new things—whether it's adopting generative AI tools, new editorial formats, or smarter workflows to boost efficiency and creativity.
