Position Purpose:
Manage development of Medicare marketing and member materials in compliance with CMS regulations and business requirements.

  • Manages the development, CMS submission, and downstream delivery of compliant member materials, (depending on scope of team) including Annual Notice of Changes, Evidence of Coverage and Summary of Benefits.
  • Leads the Duals Medicare Communications Compliance team in the management of regulatory requirements associated with the Medicare and Duals materials  compliance.
  • Manages a team of employees to optimize performance and align with company’s values/pillars.
  • Manages performance and conduct employee reviews and performance evaluations, develop skills and competencies in-line with career goals, ensure adherence to policy and procedures.
  • Delegates tasks and assignments, prioritize team workload, manage resources and provide guidance to ensure department’s goals are met, and interview, hire and train new team members.
  • Supports team members by addressing obstacles that would prevent achievement of goals.
  • Ensure timely and accurate submission of materials to CMS and state regulatory agencies.
  • Develops and maintains efficient processes for creating template materials with versioning to incorporate health plan specific information.
  • Trains business owners on Medicare Marketing requirements and departmental processes to ensure compliance.
  • Leads projects internal to the department and cross-functional business partners to promote successful collaboration.
  • Supports the implementation of measurable, repeatable, scalable, and predictable processes related to organizational goals and drive continuous improvement to enable the department to scale efficiently and effectively.
  • Manages quality assurance audits on department wide product, including regulatory research, projects, and communications.
  • Monitors regulatory guidance and disseminate as needed to ensure awareness and compliance (depending on scope of team).
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Education/Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience. 5+ years of combined health plan member materials development and compliance experience in a Medicare Managed Care environment. Previous experience as a lead in a functional area, managing cross functional teams on large scale projects or supervisory experience including hiring, training, assigning work and managing the performance of staff preferred. Ability to work in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment with superior attention to detail. Strong communication (verbal and written) and presentation skills. Ability to work well under pressure and meet targeted deadlines.
 

Pay Range: $86,000.00 - $154,700.00 per year

Centene offers a comprehensive benefits package including: competitive pay, health insurance, 401K and stock purchase plans, tuition reimbursement, paid time off plus holidays, and a flexible approach to work with remote, hybrid, field or office work schedules.  Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual's skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law.  Total compensation may also include additional forms of incentives.
