Position Overview
SpryPoint builds fantastic web and mobile applications using cutting-edge technologies. As a Customer Information System (CIS) Product Owner at SpryPoint, you will play a key role in working with our customers and product teams in managing the CIS product backlog to execute the product roadmap. You will also develop expertise in our industry, our products, and our users and play an active role in the education and enablement of our user community.
ResponsibilitiesFacilitating discovery sessions with both internal and external stakeholders to refine existing product features and uncover new featuresManaging and evaluating product ideas from multiple sources both internal and externalFacilitating feedback loops throughout the development cycle to ensure ideas translate to valuable productsWorking closely with a Development Team Lead to ensure the successful delivery of productEngaging with Service Delivery on specific project requirements and influencing customer transition timelinesSupporting the Development team through the SCRUM sprint cyclesLiaise with Customer Success to identify patterns and trends in customer issues and enhancement requestsProviding demonstrations of your products to internal and external stakeholdersNew feature education to support user enablement - both internal to the company and external to our customersCollaborate on the definition of product management processes and best practices, internal education around processes and best practicesCollaborate with the Product Manager on the definition of objectives and key results for the CIS productCollaborating with the product management team on Quality Management practices through the design, develop and release cyclesProviding forecasts on when items will be available in the productSupporting the sales process for estimating quotable development workCollaborating with business development with responses to RFPs and Statement of Work documentsQualifications and CompetenciesYou are thorough and detail-orientedExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize accordinglyYou have a tendency to be positive, creative and curiousUnderstanding of system design & analysisExperience in the Utilities Industry would be an assetYou thrive on working closely and collaborating with others whether they be internal to the firm, or directly with our customersWhy SpryPoint?
