Position Overview

As a Technical Product Owner at XTEL, you'll drive product success by collaborating with functional and technical teams to gather requirements for a domain-driven product. You'll create and maintain essential documentation, participate in agile ceremonies to enhance value delivery, while working closely with other teams to ensure seamless product development and execution.


Key Responsibilities

As a Technical Product Owner, you will:

  • Collaborate with functional and technical teams to gather requirements for a highly technical and data-driven product.
  • Create comprehensive documentation for platform and models capabilities
  • Prioritize product features and manage the product backlog
  • Participate in agile ceremonies—stand-ups, planning, and review—to maximize delivered value.
  • Help collect user feedback through a structured and shared process.
  • Work closely with the Engineering and AI to integrate advanced analytics with enterprise-grade data infrastructure, maximizing platform capabilities.


Required Qualifications

A great candidate will have:

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or related technical field
  • 2+ years of experience in product management or ownership for data-intensive or AI-driven software products
  • Demonstrated understanding of AI concepts, machine learning workflows, and the technical challenges of productionizing AI models
  • Understanding of data architecture, ETL/ELT processes, and data integration best practices
  • An innovative mindset with a passion for staying ahead of the curve in AI and cloud-based solutions.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical thinking skills
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for diverse audiences


Nice to have:

  • Experience with time series analysis, forecasting, and optimization algorithms
  • Hands-on experience with AI/ML frameworks
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and data engineering concepts
  • Familiarity with the CPG business domain
  • Product Ownership or Product Management certification
