The Senior Director of Learning and Development Solutions is a leadership role responsible for designing, developing, and implementing dynamic learning solutions that drive workforce capabilities, accelerate business outcomes, and promote career mobility. This role requires a strategic vision for corporate learning, leveraging modern learning technologies, instructional design methodologies, and AI-enabled learning solutions to foster continuous learning in the flow of work.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Learning Design & Development
- Collaborate and consult with HR Business partners, and business leaders to assess needs to design the right solutions to meet business needs
- Design, develop, and execute learning solutions aligned with business priorities and workforce needs.
- Design and manage learning architecture that embed skill development into daily work through various modalities, including microlearning, cohort-based learning, and AI-driven solutions.
Technology & Innovation
- Partner closely with HR Technology to select and implement learning technologies that help create a modern learning experience
- Stay ahead of emerging trends in learning experience platforms, adaptive learning, and skills-based workforce development
- Implement personalized, AI-powered learning journeys to provide continuous skill enhancement through real-time nudges, just-in-time access to learning, and data-driven recommendations
Content & Program Management
- Design a curriculum framework that supports various learning paths, including leadership development and role-based upskilling.
- Establish an enterprise-wide learning governance structure, ensuring standardization while allowing for business unit-specific customization
- Measure the impact of learning initiatives using key performance indicators (KPIs) such as engagement, skill acquisition, business performance improvement, and knowledge retention.
Leadership & Collaboration
- Lead a team of learning designers, program managers, and learning experience architects.
- Help develop a culture of learning within the organization, fostering knowledge-sharing, building a community of learning, development, and training professionals
- Partner effectively across the Enterprise and with external vendors, universities, and professional development organizations to ensure access to top-tier learning content and delivery.
Minimum Education and Experience Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 15+ years experience in Learning & Development, with leadership experience in a global or multinational organization
- Strong expertise in designing, developing and delivering large-scale enterprise learning and talent development initiatives and workforce skill transformations across multiple geographies
- Strategic thinker with consulting experience, especially working with senior leaders in the business
- Proven leadership and relationship building skills
- Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively
- Experience partnering with learning and development vendors
- Budget and project management
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in mandatory learning and governance management

Pay Range: $170,000-$225,000 base salary + annual bonus and equity
All job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data.
The position is also eligible for an annual bonus under the Labcorp Bonus Plan. Bonuses are payable based on corporate and/or business segment performance and are subject to individual performance modifiers.
