This is a remote position.

Job Description:

We are currently seeking an Advanced Legal Assistant to support a U.S.-based law firm. The ideal candidate will have experience handling legal administrative tasks, document preparation, and case management. The candidate must be comfortable working Pacific Standard Time (PST) hours in a fully remote environment.​

Responsibilities:

  • Assist attorneys with case management, legal research, and document drafting.
  • Prepare, proofread, and file legal documents, including contracts, pleadings, and correspondence.
  • Maintain and organize case files, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal procedures.
  • Conduct research on legal precedents, statutes, and regulations as needed.
  • Manage attorney calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate deadlines.
  • Communicate professionally with clients, courts, and opposing counsel.
  • Support Intellectual Property (IP) matters such as trademark and patent filings (preferred but not required).
  • Handle administrative tasks, including billing, expense tracking, and data entry.
  • Ensure confidentiality and security of sensitive legal information.


  • Requirements


  • 3+ years of experience as a Legal Assistant, Paralegal, or in a related legal support role.
  • Experience in Intellectual Property (IP) law is a strong plus but not mandatory.
  • Strong understanding of legal terminology, processes, and documentation.
  • Proficiency in legal research tools and case management software.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and legal software.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a remote environment.
  • Availability to work Pacific Standard Time (PST) business hours.
