Informatica IDMC Developer

Job Description

Solution Design & Development:

Designing and developing end-to-end data integration

solutions using Informatica IDMC.

Implement ETL/ELT pipelines using Cloud Data Integration

(CDI) for batch and real-time processing.

Build API-based integrations and event-driven workflows

using Cloud Application Integration (CAI).

Develop and maintain Data Quality (CDQ) rules to ensure data

accuracy and consistency.

Work with metadata-driven data management solutions for

enhanced automation and efficiency.

Performance Optimization & Troubleshooting:

Monitor and optimize data pipelines, APIs, and workflows for

performance and scalability.

Troubleshoot integration failures, connectivity issues, and

data quality concerns.

Implement error-handling mechanisms, logging, and alerting

for proactive issue resolution.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement:

Work closely with business teams and developers to align

solutions with business objectives.

Provide technical guidance on best practices, cloud strategies,

and integration patterns.

Conduct knowledge transfer sessions and create

documentation for implemented solutions.

Responsibilities include:

Requirement Analysis, Design ,Implementation, Unit Testing

and Defect Fixes.

Certifications :

Informatica Cloud Certifications (IDMC, CDI, CAI, CDQ).

Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud environments.

Knowledge of DataOps, DevOps, and CI/CD for cloud data

integration.

Primary Skills :

4+ years of experience in Informatica IDMC, CDI, CAI, CDQ, and

API Management.

Strong expertise in Cloud ETL/ELT using Informatica Cloud

Data Integration (CDI).

Proficiency in REST/SOAP API development, service

connectors, and event-driven architecture.

Hands-on experience with SQL, PL/SQL, and cloud databases

(AWS Redshift, Azure Synapse, Snowflake, etc.).

Experience in workflow automation, error handling, and

performance tuning.

Secondary Skills :

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management

abilities.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in an agile

environment.
