This remote role is not tightly linked to a physical location and provides flexibility in where, when and how you accomplish your work. Remote employees are expected to have a dedicated, quiet and distraction-free work space and an internet connection that’s sufficient for completing their job remotely.
Job Summary
The Compliance Analyst will play a crucial role in ensuring Harley-Davidson’s compliance with global anti-bribery, anticorruption, and sanctions laws, including the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA), the UK Bribery Act, and sanctions administered by the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), Export Administration Regulations (EAR), and any other relevant laws. The primary focus of this role will be conducting third-party due diligence on Harley-Davidson’s global business partners to identify and mitigate compliance risks. Additionally, the role will support the day-to-day operations and development of the Company’s Global Compliance & Ethics program. This position will also be tasked with completing monthly, quarterly, and annual compliance projects, and maintaining legal compliance records and databases.
Job Responsibilities
• Perform due diligence assessments on Company business partners.
• Oversight and continuous improvement of third-party risk management and departmental compliance processes.
• Improvement in the automation and efficiency of departmental processes
• Maintains processes to ensure Company’s compliance with sanctions, anti-bribery, and anticorruption laws.
• Supports with compliance risk assessments.
• Completes department monthly, quarterly, and annual projects as needed.
• Develops and maintains due diligence dashboard, metrics, and records.
• Ownership of vendor relationship with Company’s third-party due diligence provider including performance evaluations, periodic meetings, product enhancements, and review of vendor-issued invoices for accuracy.
• Monitors for compliance red flags by performing audits of Company third-party and transaction data.
• Assists in monitoring of high-risk third-parties.
• Stays current on changes in U.S. government regulations and certain foreign regulations (i.e., regulations that affect the Company’s anti-bribery, anticorruption, or sanctions risk profile) and provide timely and accurate communication of changes to maintain Company awareness of compliance requirements.
Education Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree Preferred
Experience Requirements
• Typically requires a minimum of 1-3 years of related experience in an analytical job function or compliance/regulatory/legal role.
• A high level of integrity, strong judgement and decision-making skills.
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proven ability to prioritize and implement multiple complex projects.
• Analytical and data visualization skills, including an intermediate understanding of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and PowerBI.
• Familiarity with data hygiene and recordkeeping best practices.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and requirements. Ability to implement change quickly and effectively.
• Strong communication skills, ability to collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Exposure to sensitive information requires confidentiality and use of discretion.
