Presentation Designer

Job purpose:

The Presentation Designer will create visually appealing PowerPoint presentations, infographics, and other graphic assets that are consistent with our brand's identity and messaging. This position necessitates strong collaboration with several teams to transform ideas, data, and concepts into compelling, high-quality visual content.

You will give expert PowerPoint design support to a global customer, concentrating on accurate formatting, layout, and brand compliance. While this function emphasizes the careful application of design elements, it does not necessitate intellectual or creative thinking. The ideal applicant would collaborate smoothly with a globally distributed team to ensure the consistent and timely delivery of polished presentation assets.

Job details: 

• Location: 100% Remote – from Costa Rica
• Type of Contract: Full-time (Remote)
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, from 12:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., and Sunday from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. (Costa Rica Time Zone).
• Language Proficiency: Spanish: Advanced / Intermediate to advanced English (preferred)
• Availability: Immediate start required

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop visually compelling PowerPoint and Keynote presentations that align with brand guidelines and corporate identity.
• Create custom presentation templates, visual assets, and layouts for corporate reports and executive communications.
• Transform complex information into clear, engaging visual stories tailored for high-level audiences.
• Assess and enhance existing presentations, providing recommendations and implementing improvements to ensure visual consistency and brand alignment.
• Receive and manage presentation-related requests through ticketing systems, project management tools (e.g., Workfront, Asana), or email.
• Edit, format, and apply design elements in strict compliance with brand standards and technical specifications.
• Estimate task timelines accurately and provide regular updates to internal stakeholders.
• Deliver high-quality final assets in editable (.PPTX) and/or exported (.PDF) formats as requested.
• Accurately log productive hours using designated platforms (e.g., Workfront, COR).
• Maintain availability and responsiveness during assigned working hours.
• Conduct end-of-shift task handoffs to ensure seamless project continuity across time zones.
  

Required Academic Background:

Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, visual communication, or a related field

Required Skills and Experience:

• 5+ years of professional experience in PowerPoint presentation design, with a strong portfolio showcasing high-end, visually polished work.
• Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, including master slides, templates, animations, charts, and layout composition.
• Deep understanding of visual storytelling, with the ability to distill complex data or concepts into clear, engaging, and audience-appropriate visuals.
• Familiarity with information design, infographics, and the effective use of stock photography.
• Experience designing information graphics, data visualizations, and infographics that support key messages and enhance understanding.
• Familiarity with sourcing and editing stock imagery, icons, and vector assets to enhance presentations while maintaining brand consistency.
• Meticulous attention to visual consistency, formatting, and pixel-level precision across large and detail-heavy presentations.
• Highly organized and self-motivated, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Proficiency with project management and task tracking tools (e.g., Workfront, Asana, Trello).
• Intermediate to advanced English proficiency (written and spoken).

Additional Requirements:

• Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite or other design tools.
• Basic understanding of branding and corporate visual identity systems.
