For our client, an innovation-driven company applying AI and digital technologies to reshape operations in heavy industries, we’re looking for a

SENIOR DATA LEAD (f/m/d)

who will spearhead the development of intelligent data systems that power strategic decisions across the business. This person will apply advanced statistical methods, machine learning, and deep learning to build models, shape data infrastructure, and extract impactful insights.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the design and execution of data strategies that support business priorities
Build and refine data models for both structured and unstructured datasets
Develop and deploy machine learning and deep learning models to solve real-world challenges
Apply advanced analytics and statistical techniques to uncover actionable insights
Create predictive tools and pattern recognition systems to anticipate trends and optimize processes
Promote best practices in data governance, quality, and security
Transform complex data into clear recommendations for leadership and teams
Drive agile practices across projects to ensure fast iteration and impactful delivery
Stay on top of emerging tech and trends to improve how we work
Manage and mentor a cross-functional, remote team of analysts, engineers, and data scientists
Collaborate closely with product and engineering to deliver tailored data solutions

What We’re Looking For

5+ years of experience with data modeling, analytics, and statistical frameworks
Strong programming skills (Python, R, or Java) and deep knowledge of ML/DL libraries like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn
Solid background in data architecture, including SQL/NoSQL, and working with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
Familiarity with big data tools like Hadoop or Spark
A collaborative mindset and the ability to lead in a fast-moving, research-driven environment
Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, or a related field
Experience in the heavy industry is consiered a plus
Fluent English

Location: Indonesia. It’s a home office based position, but it is required to travel to the headquarters in Sumbawa.
