Social Media Coordinator - Eastern Time (Weekends)

This position will require working Friday, Saturday and Sunday plus two other weekdays of your choice. The hours are as follows:

• Weekdays: 10am - 6:30pm Eastern Time Zone (with an hour break) plus one late shift (12:30pm - 9pm ET)
• Weekends: 8.30am - 5pm Eastern Time Zone

RESPONSIBILITIES

What can you expect?

• Reviewing and scheduling content across a variety of social networks and YouTube channels
• Coordinating with Storm Ideas’ content production, copywriting and captioning teams
• Coordinating with client contacts to ensure social media posts meet expectations
• Optimising content for social media with effective thumbnails and copy
• Analysing social performance, gathering data, and generating reports and recommendations
• Researching clients' shows/movies, performing competitor analysis, and carrying out regular account audits
• Conducting regular research on social media platform updates and brainstorming social content and digital activation strategies based on the latest trends and features
• Assisting with the setup and documentation of internal processes for new projects

Flexibility

We’re a remote-first company and support 100% remote working, you will be starting your day at 8:30am ET on the weekends and 10am ET weekdays. This role also includes one late shift per week where you'll be starting your day from 12:30pm ET. You will have 3 stand-ups a week with the team of the project you are working on.

RECRUITMENT PROCESS

First, you will receive questions to answer via a self-recorded video.

If successful, we will invite you to an interview (60 minutes via MS Teams). During the meeting, Megan, our Senior Manager of Social Operations, and Caspar, our Head of Social Operations, will get to know you and try to understand if you’d be a good fit for the role, and at the same time answer all your questions.

Finally, there will be a short task to test your attention to detail and communication skills.
