Job description

Our Client, a Clinical company, is looking for a Coordinator, Global Trade for their Remote location.

Responsibilities:

Export Compliance & Sanctions Advisor
Ensure regional trade operations are in compliance with applicable export regulations
Accountable for adoption and uptake of client global standards and policies
Regional point of contact in relation to export controls and trade sanctions questions/issues
Support day-to-day operations in relation to compliance with export controls & sanctions regulations and requirements
Perform Denied party screening (e.g., vendors, distributors, ...)
Perform export licensing determinations & submit license applications (as required)
Coordinate the receipt of 3rd party export compliance certifications
Review and approval of tenders, letters of credit and other transactional documents
Assess new lanes/vendors/products from an export compliance perspective
Support export classifications (ECCN determination for CAH portfolio, 3rd party products, non-standard products, ...)
Monitor regulatory developments & enforcement trends in export controls & sanctions
Work closely with the Global Trade Audit team to conduct export compliance assessments
Collaborate with Commercial, Finance, Customer Service and other CAH teams, as well as external service providers, on export compliance matters
Applies comprehensive knowledge and a thorough understanding of concepts, principles, and technical capabilities to perform varied tasks and projects
May contribute to the development of policies and procedures
Works on complex projects of large scope
Develops technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems.
Solutions are innovative and consistent with organization objectives
Completes work independently receives general guidance on new projects
Work reviewed for purpose of meeting objectives
May act as a mentor to less experienced colleagues

Requirements:

5+ years experience in export controls & sanctions regulations in law firm/consultancy or multinational organization
Strong focus on compliance
Advanced knowledge of US and regional export controls and trade sanctions regulations
Highly motivated, engaged and self-driven
Effective communication skills and strong analytical ability
Ability to work independently with limited oversight
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
Export compliance certification (e.g., ECoP EAR, CUSECO or equivalent) preferred
