Job description

Control Risks is seeking an embedded Global Guardforce Manager to oversee and drive the success of a global guard force for a major Control Risks client. This role will be based out of Miami, FL, with responsibility for overseeing security operations and guard force management across multiple geographies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate security, guard force, and team management, with the ability to effectively collaborate with client stakeholders across multiple functions.

This role will require Spanish Language fluency.

  • Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive standardized guardforce security protocols and procedures across all global facilities, ensuring consistency and effectiveness throughout the organization.
  • Oversee supply chain security related to guardforce deployment.
  • Manage and coordinate guard force contractors across multiple countries, including personnel scheduling, performance evaluation, and operational alignment with company objectives.
  • Conduct thorough security assessments and perform detailed audits to verify compliance with corporate security standards, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective measures.

Requirements

  • Professional-level fluency in both English and Spanish required, with ability to effectively communicate complex security concepts and conduct business negotiations in both languages.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Business Administration, Emergency Management, or related field.
  • Minimum 7+ years of demonstrated professional experience in security management, with a proven progression of increasing responsibility and leadership roles in complex security environments.
  • Substantial hands-on experience managing and coordinating guard force operations specifically within Latin American markets, including demonstrated success in overseeing multi-site security teams across different countries.
  • Comprehensive understanding of healthcare security requirements, regulatory frameworks, and compliance standards, HIPAA regulations, and regional healthcare security protocols.
  • Extensive experience in contract security management and vendor oversight, including contract negotiation, performance monitoring, quality control measures, and strategic partnership development.
  • Demonstrated track record in successfully developing, implementing, and maintaining comprehensive security programs, including risk assessment protocols, emergency response procedures, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Industry certifications such as CPP, PSP, or CSM.
  • Experience in healthcare required.
  • Demonstrated experience in loss prevention and pharmacy security programs, including development and implementation of strategies for inventory control, controlled substance handling, regulatory compliance, asset protection, and personnel safety protocols.
  • Knowledge of Latin American security trends, local dynamics, and emerging risks.
  • Experience successfully managing and supervising guard forces in Latin America.
  • Experience with modern security systems, including access control, surveillance, and incident management platforms.

The base salary range for this position is $140000-$150000 per year. Exact compensation offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
