Senior Technical SEO Specialist 

What you’ll do & how you’ll make your mark.

Technical SEO Strategy & Execution 

• Own and drive the technical SEO roadmap—prioritize high-impact initiatives.  

• Develop and implement scalable solutions for SEO challenges across multiple properties.  

• Conduct regular audits to improve crawlability, indexation, and site architecture.  

• Identify and fix duplicate content, canonicalization, and internal linking issues.  

• Monitor and optimize crawl budget and improve site efficiency at scale. 

Core Web Vitals & Site Performance 

• Lead initiatives to improve page speed, LCP, CLS, and INP across all domains.  

• Work closely with the Web Council, Creative and engineering teams to implement fixes.  

• Optimize use of CDNs, caching, lazy loading, and server-side rendering.  

• Analyze and resolve JavaScript SEO issues for React, Angular, or other JS frameworks. 

Advanced Technical SEO & Automation 

• Use Python, SQL, or JavaScript to automate audits, log analysis, and reporting.  

• Conduct log file analysis to understand search engine crawl patterns.  

• Implement and optimize structured data (Schema.org) to enhance visibility.  

• Set up and manage server-side SEO elements (redirects, .htaccess, header responses). 

International SEO & Multi-Region Strategy 

• Oversee hreflang implementation and international SEO strategy.  

• Optimize ccTLDs, subdirectories, and geo-targeting for search engines.  

• Work with content and localization teams to ensure SEO-friendly translations. 

Cross-Team Collaboration & Advocacy 

• Work closely with engineering, content, and product teams to integrate SEO best practices.  

• Communicate technical SEO concepts to non-technical stakeholders.  

• Provide training and documentation on technical SEO best practices. 

Who you are & what you’ll need to succeed. 

Must-Have Experience 

• 6+ years of hands-on technical SEO experience, preferably in hosting, SaaS, or e-commerce.  

• Experience managing SEO for large, complex websites with millions of pages.  

• Proven track record of leading technical SEO strategy and execution.  

• Strong understanding of Google’s crawling, rendering, and indexing mechanisms.  

• Expertise in Core Web Vitals, site speed, and web performance optimization.  

• Advanced knowledge of structured data, canonicalization, pagination, and redirects.  

• Experience with international SEO, hreflang, and multi-region site structures.  

• Proficiency with SEO tools: Screaming Frog, ContentKing (we use this), JetOctopus, Sitebulb, GSC, GA4, Adobe Analytics. 

Bonus Points For 

• Coding experience in Python, SQL, JavaScript for SEO automation.  

• Familiarity with CDNs (Cloudflare, Akamai), caching, and server configurations.  

• Knowledge of headless CMS, SSR, and JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, Vue).
