Job description

Our client is looking a ESG Risk Manager who will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) risk management framework within the organization. This role involves assessing ESG risks, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, and integrating sustainability practices into the company's overall risk management strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and assess ESG risks and opportunities across the organization
  • Develop strategies to mitigate identified ESG risks
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to promote ESG initiatives and best practices
  • Monitor regulatory developments and ensure compliance with ESG-related standards
  • Prepare reports and presentations for senior management and the board regarding ESG risks and initiatives

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Business, or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in ESG risk management or sustainability roles
  • Strong knowledge of ESG regulations and reporting standards
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Certification in ESG risk management (e.g., SASB, GRI) is a plus
