Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Technical Program Manager to oversee and manage Salesforce projects from initiation to delivery. The ideal candidate will have strong technical and organizational skills, with experience in leading cross-functional teams, gathering requirements, driving implementation, and ensuring the successful delivery of Salesforce solutions. You will work closely with a variety of stakeholders, including business users, development teams, and release management, to ensure projects are delivered on time and meet business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Scope & Progress Management: Provide overall direction for project scope and progress, ensuring alignment with business objectives. Document and manage risks, issues, blockers, and dependencies throughout the program lifecycle.
- Stakeholder Engagement & Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with a variety of stakeholders to gather requirements, drive the implementation of Salesforce solutions, and facilitate requirements elaboration sessions. Document the output and ensure clear communication across teams.
- Systems Analysis & Definition: Support and lead as-is and to-be systems definitions, user needs analysis, scope definition, and systems analysis activities across Salesforce projects.
- Cross-Functional Support: Work closely with and provide support to release management, documentation, testing, and development workstreams to ensure seamless coordination and delivery of project deliverables.
- Business Process Re-engineering (BPR): Conduct research and analysis of operational practices, identify deficiencies, and recommend process improvements as part of business process re-engineering initiatives. Lead BPR activities that drive Salesforce workstream development, consolidation, or training solutions.
- Consultation & Expertise: Provide consultation on concurrent projects, serving as a subject matter expert during all phases of systems analysis. Consider the business implications of applying technology to both the current and future business environment.
- Requirements Documentation: Deliver high-quality requirements specifications in formats that are clear, actionable, and tailored for the intended audience and cross-functional team members.
Qualifications:
- Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience in technical program management, with a strong focus on Salesforce projects.
- Proven experience working with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, developers, testers, and release management.
- Skills & Expertise:
- Deep understanding of Salesforce solutions, including both functional and technical aspects.
- Strong experience in systems analysis, business process re-engineering, and requirements gathering for Salesforce projects.
- Familiarity with agile and waterfall project management methodologies.
- Excellent documentation skills, with experience delivering clear and concise requirements specifications for cross-functional teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage complex technical issues.
- Preferred:
- Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Certified Administrator, Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder).
- Experience with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Microsoft Project).
- Knowledge of release management and testing processes for Salesforce applications.

- Process Improvement: Strong focus on process optimization and continuous improvement, with the ability to identify and implement improvements throughout the program lifecycle.
