Sales Development Manager - Health & Medical
About the Role:
As a Healthcare Market Development professional at Essity, your core responsibility will be to identify new market opportunities and design strategies to drive growth and revenue in the healthcare sector. You will play a pivotal role in influencing both public and private policies to create pathways for Essity products and solutions. Your role will involve in-depth market research, trend analysis, identifying key strategic partners, and building long-term relationships with critical stakeholders. Additionally, you will be responsible for implementing targeted market initiatives, monitoring industry developments, and collaborating across teams to ensure successful execution.
The ideal candidate will bring strong communication, analytical, and strategic thinking skills, coupled with the ability to innovate and drive business growth.
What You Will Do:
Engage with Senior Leaders: Develop and maintain strategic relationships with senior leaders across the healthcare system, leveraging expert-level knowledge of the customer landscape to create long-term collaborations that highlight Essity’s unique value proposition.
Market Trend Monitoring: Continuously monitor market shifts and understand the business implications, identifying new opportunities arising from changes within the healthcare industry.
Stakeholder Management: Build and foster relationships with policymakers, key opinion leaders, patient associations, and other key stakeholders to drive long-term business partnerships and initiatives.
Value-Based Selling: Be the primary point of contact for Essity’s value-based selling approach, presenting the health and financial benefits of our solutions and tracking outcomes post-implementation, while supporting the PAMA team and overall strategy.
Collaborate on Clinical Guidelines: Work closely with healthcare authorities and organizations to align Essity technologies with clinical guidelines, ensuring that these guidelines are leveraged for tender shaping opportunities.
Educational Initiatives & Advocacy: Develop educational programs and webinars to promote Essity’s solutions. Represent Essity at trade shows, networking events, and industry forums.
Market Leadership: Share best practices across the market and support sales teams in creating impactful business cases that integrate clinical evidence with financial considerations to drive customer decisions.
Who You Are:
Proven Experience in Market Development: A strong track record of preparing and presenting compelling value propositions, along with managing multi-stakeholder opportunities from identification to successful implementation.
Policy Influence and Project Management: Previous experience in influencing healthcare policy and public relations is a plus, along with a background in managing large-scale projects.
Educational Background: A Master's degree in healthcare policy, public health, business administration, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
Tech-Savvy: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint), LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and CRM/project management tools.
Industry Insight: A broad understanding of the healthcare system and industry trends is essential for success in this role.
Data-Driven: Ability to use data analysis and CRM tools to uncover business opportunities and measure success.
