Syntax is a global leader in SAP solutions integration and business process optimization. We are seeking a Business Transformation Lead to act as a trusted advisor and leader for the change management stream of our SAP implementation projects. This role will play a pivotal part in driving adoption, enabling transformation, and fostering sustainable organizational change within client environments.
Your tasks:
Stakeholder Management
- Lead stakeholder engagement initiatives to assess readiness for change and provide actionable insights.
- Collaborate with project teams to evaluate the understanding of change objectives and impacts across stakeholder groups.
- Develop and execute detailed stakeholder analysis and impact assessments, including tailored action plans.
- Provide guidance to sponsors, project teams, and change agents, ensuring alignment with transformation goals.
Organizational alignment & Business Transformation
- Partner with clients to identify and analyze impacts of SAP implementation on business processes, organizational structures, and roles.
- Design and implement comprehensive change management strategies and plans aligned with Syntax’s SAP Activate methodology and project delivery model.
- Drive organizational alignment by collaborating with client teams (business, training, communications, HR, and organizational development).
- Serve as a coach and mentor to ensure project deliverables and business transformation initiatives are aligned with adoption strategies and are value/result driven.
- Facilitate continuous improvement through post-implementation reviews and lessons learned workshops.
Training & Enablement
- Assess training needs for project teams and end users, focusing on SAP solution implementation and change agent capacity building.
- Develop and oversee execution of training curriculums, strategy & plans, including a train-the-trainer strategy to empower client teams.
- Ensure training materials are prepared and executed effectively for end-user adoption.
- Provide post-go-live guidance to address ongoing training needs.
Performance Management and Value-Focus
- Support clients in defining key success factors, value drivers, and measurable outcomes for the transformation.
- Monitor and evaluate performance metrics, value realization indicators, and adoption success criteria.
- Recommend corrective actions and optimizations based on performance analysis.
Strategic Thought Leadership:
- Act as a senior consultant and advisor to client leadership, providing insights on change management strategies and overall business transformation.
- Align change management initiatives with broader organizational goals, ensuring a seamless integration of technology and business processes.
- Contribute to Syntax’s thought leadership by sharing best practices, methodologies, and frameworks for change management and business transformation.
You have:
- Undergraduate or graduate degree in a field relevant to change management
- 10-15 years of relevant experience in change management
- Experience on technology projects (SAP, an important asset)
- Proven experience in consulting environments and working with cross-functional teams.
Skills & Certifications:
- Certification in change management methodologies (e.g., PROSCI, ADKAR), an asset.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English and French (mandatory for international collaboration).
- Analytical and decision-making capabilities with a value-driven mindset.
- Creativity and innovation in executing change management strategies.
- Strong leadership, influence, and collaboration skills across all organizational levels.
- High initiative and adaptability to dynamic project environments.
- Ability to inspire and align diverse teams towards a shared vision and goals.
