Choice Hotels, one of the world’s largest lodging franchisors, has an exciting new opportunity as our Revenue Manager in the Choice Revenue Optimization Consultation Services, or ChoiceROCS, working with Upscale Hotels. ChoiceROCS is the team that consults with Choice Franchisees on the program to optimize revenue for their hotels. As a key member of our ChoiceROCS Team, you will conduct revenue strategy meetings with key members of the hotel team to help them succeed in maximizing revenue for Upscale Hotels on the ROCS Program.

Your Responsibilities
Lead Revenue Strategy calls with the hotel team
Generate and distribute relevant Revenue Management reports
Proactively communicate with properties regarding Revenue Management Strategies
Act as a liaison between the hotel and Choice teams as it pertains to Revenue Management
Report out on your portfolio on a quarterly basis to Senior Management
Your Experience, Skills & Competencies
Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management, Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics or relevant field of work or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience.
Revenue Management Certification (CHRM or CRME) is required of all Choice Revenue Management team members. Candidates who are not already certified will need to become certified within the first year of employment.
Minimum 1-3 years of experience as a Revenue Manager, or Business or Consulting experience focused on financial analysis or revenue analytics.
Understanding of Revenue Management principles and philosophies, tools, and reports, as well as industry standard metrics and related reports.
Experience with multi-property revenue management a plus.
Knowledge of Choice Internet sites, Property Management Systems, Choice distribution platforms and strategies, GDS systems a plus.
Proficient in the use of all Microsoft office applications with high degree of demonstrated proficiency in Excel.
Strong analytical skills, including the ability to evaluate data, extract actionable insights, and convert to strategic revenue opportunities.
Ability to apply critical thinking skills to understand and solve complex problems and use data as the basis for making recommendations.
Ability to articulate revenue strategies and deployment to achieve strategies. Presents ideas, expectations and information in a concise, well-organized way.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Good listener with strong observation skills.
Ability to influence decision-makers at all levels; able to convince others to act through presentation of analysis and information.
Ability to make measurable progress on multiple high priorities while also handling the day-to-day operations.

Your Team
This is an individual contributor role that will report to the Regional Manager. You will have 24 peer teammates and collaborate with cross-functional departments on a regular basis.
Your Work Location
As our Revenue Manager, you will be a remote-based associate, working from your home office. You will be required to connect virtually with Choice team members and leadership on video via Zoom, with possible periodic travel in-person to our beautiful, state-of-the-art worldwide offices in North Bethesda, MD, Scottsdale, AZ, or St. Louis Park, MN.
Salary Range
The salary range for this position is $74,168 - $85,000 annually.
The pay range listed is for this position and is what Choice Hotels reasonably expects to pay. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay position within the pay range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business or organizational needs.
