This position provides users with resolutions to their problems or questions on the use of enterprise software products in a timely manner through telephone, e-mail, chat, instant messenger, web, and/or other media channels. This position guides users to self-sufficiency by providing them with information and resources that are relevant to their needs. This position manages daily operations and assists with the implementation of new projects and programs as assigned. The individual will provide guidance to less experienced members of the team.
Consistently delivers presentations for various audiences and purposes, using appropriate language, visuals, and techniques; uses persuasive techniques to convince others, such as persuading customers to buy products or services.
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
Demonstrates knowledge of business practices, procedures, systems, policies, standards, and regulations within own area and across the organization; applies this knowledge appropriately to diverse situations.
Develops and maintains positive relationships with internal and external customers to gain cooperation and achieve goals.
Understands customer needs and expectations and responds accordingly; initiates conversation with customers to address issues promptly and resolve complaints.
Maintains confidentiality.
A bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, business administration, or a related field is preferred.
Minimum 2 years of relevant technical support experience required.
Experience supporting enterprise software applications.
Proficient understanding of major operating system environments (e.g., Windows, Linux, Unix).
Experience with Oracle SQL
Ability to learn quickly and independently.
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
Effective written and verbal communications.
Problem solving skills.
