What we’re looking for:

 

SHAZAM is looking for a Managing Director, Banking Solutions to join our team. In this position, you will provide leadership and direction for sales and staff to achieve the strategic and sales objectives of SHAZAM. This position oversees the retention, extension, renewal, cross-selling, and new business sales objectives for the core banking software ecosystem.


What you'll do: 

  • Lead new business sales strategy/approach from beginning to end for Core, Digital, & Docucommand. 
  • Work directly with team members on sales calls and activities, especially in planning and execution of the plans established. Provide individual mentoring as needed and prescribe coaching from other sources as required. Specifically get and stay involved with larger prospects.
  • Develop and utilize departmental sales plans and territory management plans.   Establish and administer project planning, control and reporting systems for sales activities and responsibilities. Create and deliver presentations regarding sales progress and results to staff, Board and users on a regular basis.
  • Recommend methods for developing sales and retention efforts in existing and new markets.

  • A demonstrated, sustained track-record in leading relationship sales teams in organically growing revenues in highly competitive, regulated and commoditized markets.  
  • Experience working in financial services, banking operations, with knowledge of Core processing platforms.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
