Job description

Mobile Communications America, Inc. is seeking an innovative and hands-on talent acquisition manager to join our growing team in a remote capacity (however, must be seated in the Midwest or South Central area). You will oversee the recruitment process, as well as drive the development of a candidate pipeline to support our growth strategy. You will lead and develop a team of talented recruiters to meet the resource needs of our internal teams and divisions. You will leverage your team to provide a structured on-boarding process and positive experience to new employees joining the MCA family. 

In this role, you will be key to the growth of our talent base and talent acquisition strategy as we strive to provide best in class staffing support to our internal customers with a focus on being better together in our practices.  

WHAT YOU WILL DO

    Lead, coach, and develop an effective team of recruiters and drive their recruitment efforts and processes. 

    Build healthy relationships within the organization and with external recruiting partners. 

    Work closely with hiring managers to determine their needs and develop an effective recruiting strategy.

    Partner with division HR and Finance resources to manage headcount / FTE budgets. 

    Implement strategic hiring procedures and improve upon recruitment practices.

    Develop new and innovative techniques for finding and recruiting talent.

    Manage the screening and interview process for senior level and critical to fill positions.

    Create and suggest new and effective interviewing methods and techniques.

    Manage recruitment partners and budgets. 

    Oversee the on-boarding process and employee experience for new hires and acquisitions.

WHAT YOU BRING 

To qualify, you’ll need: 

    5+ years of professional recruiting experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role. 

    Comfortable communicating at all levels of the organization and utilizing your skills / expertise to inspire and influence organizational action.

    Solid understanding of the talent acquisition and hiring process.

    Sound knowledge of fair employment and HR practices.

    Experience working in full-cycle recruitment.

    Working knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), preferably ADP Workforce Now

    Expertise in using different talent sourcing methods and systems.

    Strong relationship-building and communication skills.

    Excellent management and leadership skills.

    Adaptable, accountable, and able to maintain confidentiality.

    Comfortable with some travel.

EXCEPTIONAL CANDIDATES HAVE:

    Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field.

    PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP certifications. 

    Experience with change management and acquisition integration.

    Sound knowledge of labor law legislation.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Work primarily in a climate-controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential. Sedentary, sitting, walking, occasional lifting (overhead, waist level) from floor, bending, frequent near vision uses for reading and computer use; semi-frequent stressful conditions (cardiovascular).

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: 

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift or move office products and supplies, up to 20 pounds.
