The Senior Business Insights Analyst will be required to compile and analyze large amounts of data from multiple sources to extract trends and present findings to the market expansion organization. The role will also need to effectively communicate concise findings and recommendations to various levels of WOW’s leadership. The Analyst will work on creating standardized reporting, forecasts, risk assessments, and construction pacing reports, that will help improve operational results and track spending. The analyst may also be required to develop requirements and facilitate the onboarding of new enterprise tools.

Salary Range: $95,000 - $105,000/year depending on experience

What You'll be doing:
Include but are not limited to the following:
Responsible for providing data analysis for the market expansion organization by utilizing structured and unstructured data across different systems and platforms
Uses various data manipulation techniques to clean and merge data to deliver executive level reporting, advanced analyses, actionable recommendations and meaningful insights
Assists with creating standardized recurring reporting to track adherence to budget, and forecast construction activity
Creates polished PowerPoints or Dashboards to inform different audiences of insights uncovered through data analysis
Works with construction teams to compile and review month-end accruals associated with market expansion capital expenses
Reviews month-end capital expense actuals vs budget categories and presents findings to the team
Maintains data integrity between systems and works cross-functionally with various systems, finance, and construction teams on data governance and process adherence

Minimum Required Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field from four-year college or university or equivalent combination of education and experience
4 years of work experience in with a focus in analytics, financial analysis, or reporting strongly desired
Skills and Abilities to be Successful in this Role
Knowledge of broadband service provider industry operations and associated metrics is strongly preferred
Advanced Excel experience required (Lookups, Pivot Tables, Calculated Fields, PowerQuery)
Previous experience with NetSuite, SmartSheet, SiteTracker, Salesforce or Tableau a plus
Excellent communication skills: must be able to convey technical and financial information to non-technical and non-financial team members, and work effectively with business managers and diverse cross-functional groups
Must be able to use technical/financial knowledge in conjunction with operations knowledge to analyze situations and recommend appropriate solutions
Experience with data storytelling and developing executive level presentations that identify business trends, operational successes and opportunities based on transactional data
Willingness to learn in-depth knowledge of construction operations team to effectively define financial and operational metrics
Must be self-directed, organized, and detail oriented as well as have the ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Ability to accommodate change and adapt accordingly
