Cardo Systems, the global market leader in the field of wireless communication systems for motorcycle, ski & ORV helmets, has an immediate opening for an enthusiastic and passionate Sales-Brand Manager for Germany.


Job Description:

The brand manager will act as an ambassador for the company and represent the brand in the field. Accordingly, he must be intimately familiar with Cardo's line of products and technology and be able to articulate these across the channel within the assigned region, including dealers, reps, and end users. The end results of the Brand Managers’ effort are enhanced and increased brand awareness, facilitating increased sales of Cardo products. The Brand Manager reports to the Country Manager, DACH, and will be part of the EMEA team and instrumental in developing and executing the regional strategy for growth.

This position territory will be designated for the south of Germany (Baden-Württemberg)

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Familiarize yourself with the company’s mission, vision, and goals.
  • Working closely with sales and marketing staff to conceptualize marketing campaigns and strategies.
  • Educating customers and retailers about our products.
  • Building rapport with customers and vendors
  • Regular visits to the outlets of the trade partners to train their employees
  • Ensure that the Cardo brand is presented in the best possible way at the trade partner outlets.
  • Representing the company at product launches and trade shows.
  • Identify appropriate Events/rides in DACH, plan them with, and ensure that Cardo is represented in the best possible way
  • Expansion of the Cardo Reseller base, finding and qualifying, and setting up new potential trade partners
  • Assists dealerships in purchase displays to encourage the growth of Cardo products
  • Ensure optimum availability of goods in the retail outlets, initiate orders, and manage ideal stock levels with the partners.
  • Introduces or demonstrates Cardo's new products to emphasize features and benefits
  • Collect real-world/end-user feedback and circulate this information internally
  • Create and maintain relationships with influential personalities in the industry to further brand exposure
  • Maintain excellent knowledge of competing brands and models, both current and future
  • Assist the CS department in providing end-user customer support via phone/email
  • Respond quickly to dealer needs and requests, involving resources as necessary, to deliver solutions and produce sales
  • Creates partnerships to foster cooperation with dealer employees and distributor representatives
  • Provides outstanding customer service by identifying and actively addressing dealership and distributor reps' needs and requests
  • Regularly meets the Country Manager DACH to review sales activities, progress on goals
  • Responsible for training materials in the German language

 



Requirements

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Fluent in English and German
  • A minimum of 5 years former experience in brand management
  • Proven experience in developing markets & managing channels in Germany
  • Prior familiarity with contacts in Germany
  • Driving license – a must.
  • Must be an active motorcycle rider with experience, a license, and a bike.
  • Travel within the assigned regions at least 60%-70% of the time. The rest of the time, working remotely or from a home office.
  • Residency – Germany, ideally Baden-Württemberg
