The Global Benefits Manager will be a key member of 8x8’s Total Rewards team, ensuring the success of the function. This position will provide overall support for program implementation, communications, and administration globally. The Global Benefits Manager will assist in ensuring benefit plans and programs comply with applicable laws and regulations.
A keen attention to detail, the ability to interpret complex data, and the ability to draw conclusions are very important, as is a high level of adaptability and responsiveness. The individual will be able to juggle multiple tasks, handle sensitive information, practice sound judgment, manage details, and deliver results in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Strategy and Operations: support the day-to-day administration of global statutory and supplemental benefits, including but not limited to health and welfare plans, life and disability insurance, voluntary benefits, and leaves of absence, such as enrollments, life events, death claims, and troubleshooting data issues
Employee engagement: respond to employees’ inquiries and act as liaison between employees and vendors
Vendor Management: work closely with benefits administration vendors, benefits consultants and brokers, insurance vendors, and payroll to administer programs and policies to ensure ideal service delivery and cost-effectiveness.
Policy Management: document, modify, and apply statutory and supplemental benefit policies that are compliant with country-specific regulations. Work with internal and external stakeholders as a subject matter expert on global benefit standards.
Collaboration: work with internal and external partners to align benefit programs with internal goals, test and update systems for accuracy of data exchanges, develop and deliver communication plans to educate employees about their benefits and make the most out of their benefits. Assist with and complete special projects as assigned.
Data and Financial Management: Responsible for benefits billing and reconciliation of benefit accounts. Work with internal partners around budgeting and cost management.
Qualifications:
Strong experience in international benefits administration, including the ability to research, review, and suggest changes within the scope of local government and statutory guidelines.
Detailed-oriented with advanced Excel: V-lookup, pivot tables with a high degree of accuracy and confidentiality in handling sensitive employee information.
Strong organizational skills with demonstrated ability to multi-task and set priorities within tight timelines and high client expectations
This individual must have an understanding of the global benefits landscape (strongly prefer experience with countries such as the United Kingdom, Romania, & Philippines).
Demonstrated sophisticated problem-solving, decision-making, analytical, and modeling skills
Commitment to providing exceptional employee experience and support regarding inquiries and issues.
Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, or IT (or its equivalent) highly desirable
