As the People Operations Manager, you will ensure all policies and procedures comply with standard legal practices. You will also manage employee relations, offboarding, employee engagement, team building, and training. You will review processes and procedures related to payroll, benefit and leave administration, and governmental reporting.
Compliance Reporting and Policy Management
• Perform all governmental reporting and submit reports when due.
• Reinforce company policies, rules, and procedures to ensure employee safety and compliance with company standards.
• Assist in the communication, interpretation, and upkeep of the employee handbook, organizational chart, and policy updates to ensure consistent adherence to company policies.
Training Program Development and Execution
• Arrange seminars, workshops, and conferences based on departmental needs to enhance employee skills and capabilities.
• Assist in training and onboarding for new employees, ensuring proper understanding of company culture, policies, and job functions.
• Develop and implement new HR policies and programs, ensuring continuous improvement of HR processes and employee development initiatives.
Employee Engagement and Team Building
• Coordinate employee satisfaction surveys, analyze data, and provide actionable insights to improve employee experience and engagement.
• Develop and implement employee engagement strategies, focusing on team building and enhancing workplace culture.
• Collect and assess HR data for performance management, ensuring data-driven decisions that enhance employee satisfaction and productivity.
Payroll, Benefits, and Leave Administration
• Track and maintain financial data for payroll, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in payroll processing.
• Be the primary backup for bonus/incentive tracking, vacation/sick pay, and benefit changes, ensuring employee compensation and benefits consistency.
• Coordinate administration of compensation, benefits plans, and leave, supporting employees with inquiries regarding leave, compensation, and benefits.
• Serve as a point of contact for employees, offering support for leave, compensation, benefits, and problem resolution.
Employee Relations and Offboarding Owner
• Serve as point of contact for all employee relations, concerns and issues.
• Work with hiring managers to understand correct exit protocol and ensure legal compliance.
• Conduct and analyze exit interviews, making actionable recommendations based on exit data to improve retention and reduce turnover.
• Provide dedicated advisory services to employees regarding absence, health issues, conduct, capability, grievances, and organizational changes.
• Manage the offboarding process, ensuring smooth transitions and compliance with company policies during employee exits.
• Prepare paperwork, schedule, and facilitate the offboarding process, ensuring proper closure of employee records and benefits management.
