Job description

Our client is seeking a Payroll Analyst to support payroll processing, expense management, and payroll compliance. This position will assist in processing payroll for our client, manage the payroll for a smaller USL OPCO entity, and ensure accurate and timely payroll processing. The Payroll Analyst will also assist with payroll deductions, resolve discrepancies, and handle year-end activities such as W-2 preparation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Expense Processing: Process employee expenses in Paycom.
  • Payroll Management Support: Assist in managing payroll processes.
  • ADP Pay Card Processing: Help with the administration of ADP Pay Cards for employees.
  • USL OPCO Payroll: Lead payroll processing for the USL OPCO entity, which includes fewer than 40 units.
  • Payroll Deductions: Calculate and process payroll deductions, including taxes, benefits, and garnishments.
  • Compliance: Ensure that payroll operations comply with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Record Maintenance: Maintain accurate payroll records and prepare necessary reports.
  • Year-End Payroll: Assist in year-end activities such as W-2 preparation and distribution.
  • Discrepancy Resolution: Resolve payroll discrepancies and address employee payroll queries.
  • Direct Deposits & Payroll Checks: Process direct deposits and manual payroll checks as needed.
  • HR Coordination: Work closely with the HR department for new hires, terminations, and salary adjustments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in payroll processing or a related role.
  • Strong knowledge of Paycom and ADP payroll systems.
  • Experience in multi-state payroll processing and compliance.
  • Familiarity with payroll deductions, payroll tax laws, and year-end payroll reporting.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial reporting tools.

You are expected to align your schedule with the client's business needs and any specific policies or preferences they may have in this regard.

Salary: $800 - $1000
