The Marketing Administrative Specialist will play a vital role in supporting the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) and the marketing team. This role serves as a key contributor to the overall culture, function, and effectiveness of the Marketing organization through a combination of administrative, culture, and project management responsibilities.

This multifaceted position is designed for a proactive individual who can effectively manage various tasks, streamline operations, and connect the dots across various team efforts to enhance overall team efficiency and effectiveness.

While not a requirement, someone who has experience in high-performing marketing organizations and has supported change management is a bonus!

Responsibilities:

Team Coordination and Communications:

Serve as staff for Marketing Executive Team and Marketing Champions teams. Drive agendas, pre-read materials, and documentation of follow ups
Champion a healthy culture by seeking feedback from the team, identifying and driving employee engagement initiatives that improve employee sentiment
Partner with Internal Communications to develop team communication plans, ensuring alignment with Marketing leadership team
Maintain Marketing specific documents related to functional strategy and goal planning

Project Coordination and Process Improvement:

Facilitate cyclical budget reviews and planning to ensure accountability and budget management across the team
Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure alignment, resource allocation, and milestone achievement on various initiatives (i.e. AI-driven workflow enhancements, team engagement models)
Prepare updates to communicate project status and outcomes to the CMO and Marketing leadership
Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to enhance efficiency

Administrative Coordination:

Manage the CMO's calendar, ensuring efficient time management and prioritization
Act as a liaison between the CMO and other departments to facilitate communication and collaboration
Schedule and coordinate meetings for Marketing leaders, preparing agendas and materials in addition to organizing necessary follow-up and action
Manage travel arrangements, expense reports, and itineraries for marketing leaders
Prepare and edit correspondence, communications, presentations, and other documents

Requirements:

5+ years of relevant experience, with at least 3 years within a Marketing function.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with ability to manage multiple priorities.
Excellent written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills.
A proactive problem-solver with a collaborative mindset.
Ability to work independently and handle confidential information with discretion.
Self-starter who can model EFE values

Edelman Financial Engines takes a market-based approach to pay. The expected base salary range for this role nationally is $87,600-116,700. However, final base pay will be carefully determined based on several factors, including responsibilities, job-related skills, relevant experience, geographic location, and market conditions. Additionally, this role may be eligible for other forms of compensation and benefits, such as a discretionary bonus, health, dental and other wellness plans, and 401(k) contributions.
