Description
Position at United Veterinary Care

The FP&A Manager is responsible for developing, maintaining, and overseeing execution of various finance-related processes. This is a key leadership role within the Finance department, responsible for providing strategic financial guidance, driving performance analysis, and collaborating with operational leaders to shape business decisions. The FP&A Manager will report directly to the Senior Director of FP&A. 
 
Duties and Responsibilities include:
  • Drive insightful, data-driven analyses to yield key insights and improve operational KPIs by partnering with the Business Intelligence group.
  • Partner with operations leadership to ensure financial targets are achieved and help in developing plans for hospitals.
  • Deliver timely, accurate, and effective analysis and reporting of financial and operational performance metrics.
  • Perform variance analysis comparing actual results to budgets/forecasts and prior year results for internal reporting.
  • Build, analyze and assess financial models on major strategic initiatives, lenders, mergers/acquisitions, expansions, and de novo opportunities ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Drive cross-functional initiatives by providing financial insights and support to various departments.
  • Prepare recurring and ad-hoc reports, presentations, and other documentation as required by all levels of management.
  • Identify and develop efficiency tools and best practice processes.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics or related field required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of related experience.
  • MS Office and other applicable financial software application skills/experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Job Location:
  • Remote with limited travel for key business engagements
Physical Requirements: 
  • Frequent work at a computer for 90-100% of the time.
  • Frequent ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form to solve problems involving several variables.
