Job description

The role

AMICULUM is seeking a medical writer for a franchise account that comprises two products for rare diseases in haematology. The role will involve providing support for various activities, such as internal and external medical education, meetings and congresses, and publications.

The role can be based at any of our UK offices or completely remotely from your home in the UK or Ireland.


Key responsibilities

  • Developing high-quality and scientifically rigorous content for a range of deliverables in accordance with the client’s strategic objectives
  • Leading and managing your own projects while building strong and trusted partnerships with colleagues, clients and other external stakeholders
  • Using creative skills to propose ideas for stimulating and impactful enhanced content
  • Adapting your writing style for different target audiences
  • Contributing to organic growth and business development activities, as needed


What you’ll need

  • Previous experience leading and managing medical writing projects within a healthcare communications agency
  • A strong academic background in the life sciences
  • The desire and agility to multitask effectively in this fast-paced account with growth potential
  • A passion for developing your medical writing skills across a broad range of deliverables
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Intellectual curiosity and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
