Role Overview:
As the Head of Sales, reporting to the VP of Sales at CloudM, you hold a pivotal role in driving revenue growth through both new business acquisition and the effective management of our existing customer base. With your extensive experience and sales-oriented mindset, coupled with a strong focus on customer satisfaction, you are poised to become a motivational leader who will further accelerate CloudM's growth trajectory.

Responsibilities:
As the Head of Sales, you play a crucial role in driving revenue growth, improving customer retention, and fostering a high-performance culture within the sales teams. Your responsibilities include:
Revenue Growth & Sales Strategy
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy that aligns with CloudM’s growth objectives.
- Set ambitious yet achievable revenue targets for both new business acquisition and expansion within existing accounts.
- Identify new revenue opportunities and optimize sales conversion rates across Microsoft and Google ecosystems.
- Implement a structured sales cadence to ensure accurate forecasting and improved sales pipeline visibility.
- Monitor and refine sales processes, methodologies, and tools to enhance efficiency and scalability.
Customer Success & Retention
- Ensure exceptional customer experiences and long-term engagements are delivered.
- Implement strategies to minimise churn and maximise expansion revenue by identifying upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
- Optimise the customer onboarding process to accelerate time-to-value and improve Net Promoter Score (NPS).
- Utilise data and analytics to track customer journeys, proactively identifying risks and growth opportunities.
Leadership & Team Development
- Build, mentor, and lead high-performing sales teams, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
- Provide coaching and development programs to improve team capabilities and ensure continuous improvement.
- Promote knowledge sharing, best practices, and collaborative approaches to maximise team productivity and efficiency.
Strategic Planning & Market Insights
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify emerging trends and customer needs.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders—including marketing, product development, and support—to ensure a unified go-to-market approach.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with key customers, partners, and industry stakeholders.
- Provide senior leadership with data-driven insights and recommendations to influence strategic decision-making.
Performance Monitoring & Reporting
- Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for new business and expansion effectiveness.
- Utilise performance data to drive continuous improvements, addressing areas for development.
- Tackle underperformance issues in a timely manner, engaging with the People team for support.
- Present regular reports to senior management, highlighting progress, challenges, and opportunities.
Overall Success in This Role is Defined By:
- Consistently surpassing revenue targets across CloudM’s solutions.
- Increasing conversion rates (CVR) and average order value (AOV ensuring consistent sales target achievement.
- Enhancing customer retention, satisfaction, and lifetime value (LTV).
- Establishing CloudM as a market leader within the Microsoft and Google SaaS ecosystems.

- Proven track record in leading successful sales teams.

- Experience in developing sales strategies, forecasting, and pipeline management.
- Skilled in negotiation, deal closing, and contract management.
- Deep understanding of sales methodologies (e.g. Challenger Sales, MEDDIC, MEDDPIC or Solution Selling) with the ability to implement and optimise these frameworks to drive predictable revenue growth.
