UltraViolet Cyber is looking for a Solutions Architect to work collaboratively with business leaders, technology teams and other stakeholders to understand business and technical requirements, and then design solutions in alignment with Enterprise Architecture standards and best practices. They will create artifacts and roadmaps for the implementation of these solution to ensure smooth transition to the delivery teams. The Solution Architect will also serve as subject matter experts on business process development, efficiencies, capabilities, and value streams.
This role requires collaboration, storytelling, influencing, and interpersonal skills. This role will also work closely with Business Analysts, Enterprise Architects, and others to help shape and define business and technical requirements, providing guidance and expertise to help develop and mature standard deliverables and artifacts for solution planning. They will also engage with key stakeholders to support strategic planning, document capability roadmaps, and understand our maturity levels related to those capabilities.

What You'll Do:Collaborate with business leaders and other stakeholders to understand business and technical requirements and Zero Trust Architecture initiative.Lead the design, development, and documentation of end-to-end technical solutions for complex business problems in partnership with the Program Manager, Lead Security Architect, and leadership.Define and document solution architecture and roadmap, including identification of technical and functional components, data flow, and security requirements.Lead the project planning process for the ZTA solution.Identify and mitigate risks associated with the implementation of the solution.Lead the development and maintenance of business capability models.Ensure that the solutions align with the organization's goals, budget, and timeline.Partner in the strategic planning process, generating deliverables such as Capability Models, Capability Heatmaps, Capability Maturity Assessments, Capability Impact Assessments, Capability Health Assessments and Capability Roadmaps.Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends and provide recommendations for adoption of new technologies and tools.Present recommendations to senior leadership.Advocate and help drive adoption of “best practices” to ensure standardization of solution architecture outputs across the enterprise.Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.What You Have:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field9+ years in an architecture roleExperience guiding Zero Trust Architecture solutions in large to enterprise environmentsExpert knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC), architecture frameworks, design patterns, and programming conceptsSignificant experience working in a structured project delivery methodologyAdvanced knowledge of cloud computing, virtualization, storage, and networking technologiesExperience in designing and implementing enterprise-scale systems and applicationsExperience in project management, including budget and timeline managementExcellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skillsAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with changing prioritiesCertifications in architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman) are a plusWhat We Would Like To See:SECRET Clearance is desired, or ability to clear Federal Entry of DutyZERO TRUST ExperienceExperience working in the Federal sectorWhat We Offer:401(k), including an employer match of 100% of the first 3% contributed and 50% of the next 2% contributed Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance (available on the 1st day of the month following your first day of employment) Group Term Life, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability Voluntary Life, Hospital Indemnity, Accident, and/or Critical Illness Participation in the Discretionary Time Off (DTO) Program 11 Paid Holidays Annually UltraViolet Cyber maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect our company's differing products, services, industries and lines of business.
