Job Title: Senior Director/AVP, Acute Revenue Cycle

About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced Sr. Director, Acute Revenue Cycle Leader to join our product team as an individual contributor. This role is designed for someone with deep expertise in back-end revenue cycle management (RCM), a strong data-driven mindset, and the ability to apply economic value-add (EVA) principles to drive measurable financial outcomes.
The ideal candidate will excel in first-principles thinking, breaking down complex revenue cycle challenges into structured, framework-driven solutions. They will be equally comfortable with hands-on execution, solution design, and industry thought leadership. This individual should be highly analytical, skilled in data visualization and storytelling, and able to craft compelling narratives for executives, product teams, and external stakeholders.
This position requires 50% travel.
Key Responsibilities
Subject Matter Expertise & Execution
Serve as the go-to expert for back-end RCM, specializing in denials, underpayments, AR management, and claims workflows.
Lead and execute high-impact RCM initiatives, ensuring alignment with payer trends, regulatory shifts, and reimbursement models.
Apply economic value-add (EVA) methodologies to assess financial impact and drive ROI-positive solutions.
Leverage data-driven insights to optimize RCM operations, identifying trends and opportunities for automation and efficiency.
Data Analytics, Solution Design & Presentation
Utilize advanced data analytics to evaluate RCM performance, operational bottlenecks, and financial opportunities.
Develop compelling presentations, reports, and data visualizations to communicate findings to executive leadership, product teams, and industry stakeholders.
Work cross-functionally to translate analytical insights into structured, scalable solutions for both internal execution and product development.
Product Support & Innovation
Collaborate with product and engineering teams to design scalable RCM solutions rooted in economic value and operational efficiency.
Apply first-principles thinking to break down complex RCM problems into structured, solvable components.
Develop solution frameworks that balance operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and financial sustainability.
Thought Leadership & Industry Influence
Act as a trusted advisor both internally and externally, shaping industry discussions on modern RCM challenges and innovations.
Engage with industry stakeholders, participate in conferences, and contribute to thought leadership via whitepapers, webinars, and public speaking.
Stay ahead of regulatory changes, payer trends, and emerging technologies to ensure our solutions remain cutting-edge and high-impact.
Key Skills & Qualifications
Ability to be able to travel 50% of the time.
Deep expertise in acute care revenue cycle management, with a strong focus on back-end operations.
Strong data analytics and visualization skills, with experience using Excel, SQL, Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools.
Proven ability to apply economic value-add (EVA) frameworks to assess financial impact and optimize revenue cycle processes.
Experience with solution design, process improvement, and workflow automation in the RCM space.
Excellent presentation and storytelling abilities, with experience developing executive-level reports and business cases.
Strong strategic thinking and first-principles problem-solving approach, capable of breaking down complex issues into structured solutions.
Hands-on execution mindset, comfortable working as an individual contributor while driving cross-functional collaboration.
Industry thought leadership experience, including participation in panels, conferences, and content development.

Compensation and Benefits: The base salary range for this position is $150k-$250k. Pay is based on several factors, including but not limited to current market conditions, location, education, work experience, certifications, etc. IKS Health offers a competitive benefits package, including healthcare, 401k, and paid time off (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements for full-time employees).
