As our Healthcare Revenue Cycle Business Analyst, you will help identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and revenue leakage while providing actionable insights for process improvements. Every day you will work closely with finance and clinical teams to align revenue cycle strategies with organizational goals and support revenue cycle projects, including system upgrades, workflow enhancements and process automation initiatives.
Here’s what you will experience working as a Healthcare Revenue Cycle Business Analyst:
Analyze revenue cycle processes, including patient registration, charge capture, claims processing, billing, and collections.
Develop reports, dashboards, and KPIs to monitor financial performance and operational effectiveness.
Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, payer policies, and industry standards.
Provide training and support to staff on revenue cycle best practices and system utilization.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business, finance, or a related field OR equivalent experience considered.
3+ years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle management, business analysis, or a related role.
Knowledge of HIPAA, CMS regulations, and other healthcare compliance requirements.
Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, SQL, Power BI)
Experience with revenue cycle management systems (Epic, Cerner, Meditech, Athenahealth)
