We are currently searching for an SAP FICO Consultant:

Responsibilities:

  • Provide assistance to customers in the ongoing application support of their SAP solution.
  • Support globally without regional barriers on defect resolution and incident release management in a multi-vendor and multi-geography environment for ECC and its satellite systems.
  • Coordinate with offshore teams and users to resolve tickets and system issues.
  • Work on implementation projects based on new opportunities.
  • Understand different severities and priorities based on issue level.
  • Adhere to SLAs and coordinate with the support team to expedite ticket resolution.
  • Coordinate with business users and support teams effectively.
  • Perform incident management, including ticket analysis and resolution per defined scope and SLAs.
  • Fulfill service requests, ensuring smooth operations and timely implementations.
  • Conduct problem management by performing root cause analysis and resolving recurring issues.
  • Manage change requests, including scope definition, validation, planning, deployment, and documentation.
  • Conduct proactive monitoring of interfaces and batch jobs, categorizing alerts and taking corrective actions.
  • Provide continuous improvement services, optimizing operational costs and identifying automation opportunities.
  • Engage with SAP Product Support as needed.
  • Act as a liaison between technical teams and other stakeholders for issue resolution.
  • Provide overall feedback to the Production Support Manager.
  • Monitor KPIs, report issues, and recommend improvement solutions.
  • Mentor junior team members, preparing them for support activities.
  • Ensure achievement of client-expected business results.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering from a recognized institution.
  • At least 8 years of functional experience in the finance domain.
  • Hands-on SAP FICO configuration experience, particularly in Controlling, Cost Centre Accounting, Profit Centre Accounting, Product Costing, Profitability Analysis, Project System, Results Analysis, Unsettled Costs, Month-End Close, and Overhead Assessment & Settlement.
  • Experience with one full lifecycle SAP implementation (preferred).
  • Minimum 6 years of experience supporting SAP ERP in large client engagements.
  • Strong knowledge of key integration points between SAP modules.
  • Understanding of client business environments mapped to SAP ERP.
  • Strong consulting skills and business process knowledge.

Desired:

  • Experience in multi-vendor, multi-geography SAP ERP support.
  • Ability to analyze problems and provide clear recommendations.
  • Strong collaboration and coordination skills.

Languages:

  • Advanced Oral English.
  • Native Spanish.

Notes:

  • Hybrid in Monterrey.
