Job description

We are seeking an experienced Contract Manager to oversee our client’s full contract lifecycle. This role is critical in ensuring compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and industry regulations while managing risk and optimizing contract terms. 

As a key member of the team. You will collaborate with internal departments, vendors and partners to negotiate and execute contracts efficiently.  

This position is contingent on the award of the project 

Key responsibilities: 

  • Oversee the development, negotiation, and administration of contracts, including prime contracts, subcontracts, and vendor agreements. 

  • Analyze contract terms and conditions to ensure compliance with company policies and applicable laws and regulations. 

  • Manage the contract lifecycle from initiation to closure, including renewals and amendments. 

  • Identify and mitigate contractual risks while optimizing business outcomes. 

  • Work closely with legal, compliance, and risk management teams to address contractual obligations. 

  • Lead contract negotiations with clients, vendors, and partners. 

  • Maintain and update contract templates and documentation for consistency and efficiency. 

  • Monitor contract performance and ensure timely execution of deliverables and payments. 

  • Provide guidance and training to internal teams on contract policies and best practices. 

Qualifications & Skills 

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Law, Finance, or a related field 

  • 5+ years of experience in contract management, procurement, or legal compliance. 

  • Strong understanding of contract law, risk assessment, and regulatory compliance. 

  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills. 

  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and organizational skills. 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and contract management software. 

  • Ability to manage multiple contracts and deadlines simultaneously. 

  • Experience in government contracts, commercial contracts, or procurement is a plus. . 

  • Relevant experience in Federal contract management, and basic familiarity with 
    the FAR, AIDAR, 22 CFR 228, 2 CFR 200 and 45 CFR 75 is an asset.
